Too many variables are involved such as equipment in use and environment. I would suggest you book a site survey with a local wireless company to get the best performance from your Telxon 960SL.

Which fuse do you take out to reset your check engine light on a Chrysler Town and Country?

Instructions
    • 1

Let the light reset itself. When the engine trouble has been fixed, a Chrysler engine resets the "Check Engine" light automatically after 40 successful runs. If it doesn't reset, the problem likely still exists.

    • 2

Force the computer into "Successful Run" mode. Start the Chrysler and drive forward a few feet, then put it in reverse and go backward a few feet. Do this three times and shut the engine off. Crank it again to see if the light has been on.

    • 3

Disconnect the battery for several minutes. This resets everything in the vehicle, including the clock and radio settings. Reapply the radio settings and adjust the time when the battery is reconnected.

Use a diagnostic scanner to clear the codes. Connect the scanner to the test port, also called the ALDL (Assembly Lineicon1.png Diagnostic Link) usually located under the dash (see Resources section). Turn the engine "On" and follow the prompts on the scanner to pull the engine codes. Select the option to clear them.

ALL ABOUT RADIOS

Radios especially AM bands are simple to work with. Its mostly about antenna adjustments, microphones,Swr, grounding. Check SWR on radio to say 1.5 ratio, which is good. Ground the heck out of it. Drive 8 foot copper stakes into earth, also to water pipes, metal filing cabinets, chain link fences...Connect all these to your radio metal, or black ground. The better the ground stronger the signal. Make sure Antenna is off the ground 15 to 35 feet. I use Tv pole on mine.Use big supergrade coax low-loss 50 ohm. All Am radio is 50 ohm loaded. Internal adjustments to radio is not needed.. But, if you do, make sure you chart what you did and mark your IF canisters with nail polish(setting factory). Clip diodes for Modulation or turn up a VR4 or VR1 or so. Each model has different setting Variable Resistors(VRx). Make sure you read all about it on DEFCOM RADIO MODS or SNAKE DOCTORS RADIO MODS--Before attempting internal adjustments..Use micro screwdrivers only. Remember the best antenna for CB frequencies is "102 inches" 8.5 feet. Build your own and have fun.

2006 Solaria: went for annual inspection. They said "not ready" and couldn't read computer. No problems with battery; haven't replaced since last inspection. They FAILED me but no idea...

It depends on what actually happened at the inspection station.
If the scanner showed the computer was "not ready" the engine was not warmed up or had not been driven far enough.
If the scanner could not communicate with your computer, you could have a blown fuse for the ALDL connector the scanner plugs into.

I just bought 5401 bmw 1995,the radio is showing code which i don't know and the manual did not come with it

That means that the battery has been disconnected. You will need to pull the radio out of the dash far enough to read the serial number. Then ask a service writer at the dealer to look up the code to unlock the radio. You punch in the code using the number buttons on the radio.

I have a DI-524 Air Plus G Router and would like to send signal to a location 350 feet away in another building. Is this possible? Currently I can receive a very weak signal, but not strong enough to...

not without a repeater or maybe outside antenna. then the signal would probally be too low. you are working too far for wirless and thru building walls.

Bostitch M111 not driving the staples far enough into the floor.

When this happens it is most likely the piston has untreaded itself from the piston stem. This will cause the piston to hit the bumper before it drives the nail all the way down. You must dismantle the tool and tighten this piston up. Or take it to your nearest Bosttich service center its a pretty quick fix.

Hope this helps

Radio shack pro-95 scanner

Radio Shack scanners are not as sensitive as others, but the problem may be your location, especially if you're in a valley with mountains between you & the town that you're trying to receive, or if you have aluminum siding on your home, as metal blocks radio signals.

If either of these is the case, the best solution might be to erect a scanner antenna on your roof or the highest place possible (above metal siding) & connect its cable to your scanner.

Manual

That model was the first prototype of the Uniden Bearcat Electra BC780XLT-PPKL88 otherwise known as the BC780XLT. That manual that you got for the XLT model should work just fine, the only difference is that the XLT has more features than the HLT. The HLT came with its own manual, but it wasn't very accurate either, just try to make due with the manual you've got. If you want a scanner that is easier to use, you should get a Regency Touch K500. The Touch K500 can scan up to the 900MHz range and has VHF/UHF/FM/AM/CB/WX/AIR scanning capabilities. It even comes pre-programmed with international channels. It also has an automatic Weather Alert Notifier Bank already programmed into its internal memory. In short, the K500 is the ultimate scanner. However it will be hard to find because Regency went out of business a while back.

Good Luck!

Most scanners do not have the capability to scan 900 MHz channels, but the Regency Touch K500 can. And no you can't digitize a scanner that hasn't been built to be digital trunking. As for your other question, I don't understand about the VHSC thing.
