I am looking for as much information about transactional print as possible. My business is looking for cost-efficiencies and believes this area offers a good ROI

The print industry is well known but not so many realise the large-scale integration with transactional data, which in turn produces transactional mail. Read on to learn more about benefits, applications and a wide range of topics on this subject.

Casio pcr-t470 electronic cash register has eject full e206 on screen how do i clear this?

EJ stands for Electronic Journal. The ej is a record of all the sales made on the till since the last time the ej was cleared. If you dont clear it then it eventually fills up and stops the till from working until it is cleared. I dont have a manual for this model but there will be a report to print and clear the ej in your manual.

Flexion1, Thanks for your reply. When i tried to create the trainee clerk, after a completed transaction, the receipt printed replacing every space with an asterix i.e *. Why is this so? Also unfortunately...

I'm pretty sure that is right for training mode (asterisks). It has been a long time since I used it (I prefer to use standard clerks when training so i can demo the daily reports). It is easy to confirm - just print a Z report and see if the transactions are totalling in there. If not, you are in training mode. For your other problem, try turning to program, 0 CASH SUBTOTAL 3 SUBTOTAL 0 CASH SUBTOTAL

Will not show reports below a "blue line" in check register

The blue line in a register indicates transactions that have been entered in the future, past today's date. Check your transaction dates as well as your system clock. It's possible your system clock is off.

My register the pcr - t470 had and * it said to run the journel report. Well it has been printing for 10 minutes and won't quit how can I fix it??? now it has stopped. How can I clear it without having...

Hi. Yes, the star means the journal is near full. It can hold thousands of transactions.
I don't have the manual for the 470, but I have info for the 465, so it's probably the same. I assume you turned the key to Z mode, and pressed 58 CASH.
Try using 4058 CASH instead.

How to get fax reports

Your only option is to have it print out automatically after every 32 transactions, print out after every transaction, or print out only when there was an error with the transmission.

That parameter is Comm Journal and you can get to it by going to Function 7, option 4. That should give you a fax parameter table. You want options 12 and 13. Set 13 to "1" if you want it to print out every 32 transactions. Set that to "2" if you don't.
Set 12 to 1 for Comm Journals Off, 2 for Always, and 3 for Incomplete Only (errors).
