My heater blower motor burned up. Why? I have a 1992 Oldsmobile cutlass ciera s.

Difficult to say from here.
Could have been old age, a weak connection, something got stuck in the blower wheel, or something else.

Could be a stuck blend door under the dash, something blocking the passage, or the blower motor wheel is not attached to the blower motor.

Why is my Husqvarna 125bt Backpk Blower beeping?

There are no warning buzzers or electronics on the unit. You need to look for something that may be making the noise... A loose motor mount behind the impeller, something stuck inside the shroud that the impeller blades are scraping, a loose cylinder or spark plug causing a compression leak are somethings that I can think of that may cause a beeping or squeeking sound. Maybe a partially clogged exhaust.

Weed eater fb25 won't start

This blower is fuel sensitive! Gas and oil mixture has to be correct. Too much oil will cause carbon buildup in the cylinder. In my case my blower would not start after several uses this season. I checked EVERYTHING....spark, fuel delivery, air filter.....then checked the flywheel which has no separate key....the key is cast into the flywheel. Read somewhere about the carbon buildup so took the cylinder off and viola! The piston ring was firmly stuck in the piston groove plus the cylinder was carbon scored. I tried to gently pry the piston ring free but it was so firmly stuck, it broke. Not worth fixing. Take the muffler off and you will be able to see the piston ring....use a small pick or something to see if the ring is free. If not, proceed to tear down or throw out. I was able to see scoring on the piston and determine my ring was stuck this way. Remember the elements needed for successful ignition...fuel/air...spark....compression. Stuck ring = low compression. The last time you ran the blower the ring became stuck...the engine continued to run because of the engine rpm's but when you try to start at low RPM's, no luck.

The motor hums but if i take off the tension spring the motor spins fine

if you mean you disconnected the belt and the motor spins you could have something stuck in the blower wheel like a sock or something, you might have had the filter out and ran the dryer and something went down into the blower wheel, also the motor still could be bad not strong enough to spin drum

My dryer does not start.. when I push the start button all it does is hummmm... kind of like the motor is stuck or jammed. It did work last nite and this morning so I don't know... is it something...

Check for something jammed in the fan blower, worn glides or rear bearing jamming the drum, but unfortunately 9 times out of 10 this is a bad motor and you will need a new one.

Please do rate the solution as FixYa and revert for further assitance.
