Aux input on hp laptop not working - Car Audio & Video

This machine has no Bluetooth:

What type of aux you try? A microphone or speakers? What is your OS?

get a new cable or check aux input connection

You need to change channels on TV or set an AUX input (on TV)

connect the source of the device to the AUX and selct the AuX input so that the amplifier switches to play .
You must select AUX, connect audio out L&R of teh device ( ipod)to the input .

I would check on the Soundmax software set-up on the PC and make sure that the AUX is set for a line-out connect.
Also,make sure the tape monitor isnt on ..On the amp

I'm not sure what aux input you're using - but be advised that if you've plugged your mp4 player directly into the RCAs in the back that won't work - those are outputs, not inputs.

You need to use a Pioneer CD-RB10 (or CD-RB20 if you're running a cd changer, XM tuner, or any other IP-bus component) in order to get an auxiliary input.

If you've done that - you need to go to the initial settings menu and set aux input to 'on'. Instructions are in this link, page 89.

Hi to you all. CAN YOU HELP ME? i have peugeot 206 and i have new kenwood CD MP3 and i also have aux input but I cant get any sound to come out at all?

buy a creative sound pcmcia card with stereo inputs...it runs aboout 50 bux at compusa...another solution would be usb audio input, they are also available at compusa,tigefr direct...i hope this helps...
