HOW TO INITIATE SET-UP PROCEDURE FOR 2ND HAND VIDEO/DVD PLAYER

You should have the main aerial going into the dvd and then a black flylead going back into the tv.If you go into the on screen menu you find a set section so you can re-tune the stations.

Can't find the unlock code for bose system in 1998 audi a8

Call the dealership and they should have it on record via your vin number, give that a try. Sometimes in the factory book (hand written) or under the underhood fuse box cover. Good luck!

Foot pedal won't work with hands free microphone

The 3750 won't let you control the telephone record jack. The only way you can get a mic to work using the Tel Rec jack is by pressing and holding the 'Tel Rec' button for about 1 second. But this isn't compatible with the hands-free operation.

If you're looking to do hands-free recording, it uses the built-in conference mic. Press and hold the 'Conf Rec' button for about a second and it should start recording. This built-in mic is located on the right-hand side of the machine near the front by the headset jack.

If you want to control the machine via a foot control while in Conference Record mode, you'll have to change the 'Foot Control Dictate' setting in the menu. Here's how:

1) Press and hold the 'Erase' & 'Search' buttons for about 5 seconds until the menu appears.

2) Scroll through the options until you get to 'Foot Control Dictate' and set this to 'Yes'.

3) Press 'Stop' to exit the menu.

4) Press the 'Conf Rec' button to enter record mode.

Now you should be able to control the start/stop of the record function via the foot control.

Hope this helps...

How can I record from VHS to Computer with Sabrent TV Tuner?

Did you install the driver for the remote control?
In either case, the video will automatically start playing on your computer but not recording. You can just click on the record icon without using the remote.
It sets up a folder under your Documents. It should then show you the icon so you can name the file.

I am having the same issue with the sound though. Haven't yet solved it. Will post the solution if found

Hi - You can download the manual from the link underlined in blue below:

MDS-JE480

The error you have is probably:

This means that you are trying to record from the Digital Input, if you want to record from an analogue input do the following:

Please take a moment to rate this solution & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!

We have an old Mitsubishi tv and we can't work out how to tune it to our new video recorder, there are no obvious options on the menu and we are using a generic remote control. The video recorder is...

You have a problem. the adjusting button is on the original remote.
If you cant get your hands onto an original remote then there is nothing you can do about it.

only thing you can do is run the vid via av leads that way you bypass the tuner.

Help Anyone??

Hi there Grusm,
It seems from what you have wriiten, your recording setttings have gone back to playing mode on your computer. Try the followings see if it sorts the problems you are having:-

  • Click Twice or so on the speaker on the right hand side of START manu at the bottom right hand. A speaker volume control panel will open up displaying volume control, wave,sw synth, phone line,Aux volume, video volume, mic volume, line In and audio in.
  • Make sure on the bottom of this panel volume is not ticked muted. if it is untick it.
  • On the top Manu you Options and Help. Click on Options
  • Select properties and Click on it, when it opens up change the setting from Playback to Recording by clicking in the round ring in front of the Recording sign. once you done that you can select the controls on the volume control panel to your requirement. Keep this volume panel minimise it while you are recording the sound, so if it needs altering you have it there infront of you at the bottom on the start manu. I hope this helped.

Sony SLV-D350P DVD/Video cassette Player

I have the manual. Are you trying to record something live? if so:

1) Turn on both the DVD/VCR and your TV.
2) Switch the input selector on your TV so that the signal from the player appears on the TV screen (this is usually something like 'input 1' or 'line 1' and so forth)
3) On your remote, set TV/DVD-VIDEO to DVD-Video, then press SELECT VIDEO to control the VCR. These buttons are at the upper left hand corner of the remote controller.
4) To record from a cable box, turn it on.
5) make sure the tape is longer than the total recording time.
6) insert a tape into the VCR.
7) press CH +/- on the remote to select the channel or line input video source to record.
8) select the tape speed SP/EP (SP provides better quality, EP provides three times the recording time as SP)
9) Press the record button to start recording. The VCR display will display the message REC.
