Might need a new touch screen. There\'s really no way around a faulty touchscreen, previous owner probably tapped it a lot

What Android version do you have? Its important, because version 5 I believe, they made it a read only. You may need to root the device in order to get the xsd card fully functional.you can find this info under settings/about, and scroll to the bottom

It doesn't need to be turned off. try double tapping the home button. The bottom of screen should show the apps that are running, now depending on your version of iOS, (I know of 2 methods)

1. touch the app until red minus sign appears and touch the red circled minus sign for the recording app you want to close. and....
2. slide the app window above the app icon up so it disappears off the screen.

How do you set tablet to static IP?

If you have Android 3.x, use this procedure:

1)Open Settings
2)Touch Wireless & networks on the left
3)Touch Wi-Fi settings
4)Find the network you wish to connect to and long press it (touch and hold).
5)Touch Modify Network
6)Touch the IP Settings drop down and change from DHCP to Static
7)Enter the settings for your network - if you are unsure what settings to use, contact your network administrator

If you are using Android 4.0, then use this procedure:

1)Open Settings
2)Under the Wireless & networks heading on the left, Touch Wi-Fi
3)Find the network you wish to connect to and long press it (touch and hold).
4)Touch Modify Network
5)Touch the Show Advanced Settings check box in the lower left corner of the dialogue box. If the Show Advanced Settings option is not displayed, you may need to go back a step and Touch Forget Network, and then, when you reset up the network, you will see the Show Advanced Settings option

7)Enter the settings for your network - if you are unsure what settings to use, contact your network administrator

To ensure that you have got Static IP visit IP-Details.com to have an IP lookup.

What does calibrating a ipad mean

Whoever used the term "calibrating an iPad" may have been referring to touch screen calibration.

Some touch screens need to be adjusted, or "calibrated", or the device may act as if you touched a different spot on the screen than you did. The iPad screen does not need to be calibrated.
If the iPad make a mistake about what spot you touched, the error may be due to:
  • a defect or damage;
  • a screen protector;
  • a cold finger;
  • a hand that is holding the iPad and inadvertently touching the screen;
  • a finger that is inadvertently touching the screen.

I installed windows xp on my toshiba tecra m4. How stylus pen works?

Toshiba Tecra M4-S435 is Tablet PC. Windows XP (Profession) has no option of touch screen.
In order to use the feature, you need to install Windows XP Tablet PC Edition or you may install Windows 7, which supports this feature and you would definately be able to use stylus and touch screen, as I have installed Windows 7 and its working fine with all the drivers etc.

Hope it helps! Good Luck!

I have a Toshiba tablet M780-s7230 and i tried reinstalling the touch screen driver and my tablet pen and touch screen still don't work what else could i do?

Have you turned on the Touch feature on Windows 7 yet? That could be the reason why your touch screen feature is not working.

To turn it on please follow this:

1. Open your Start menu and type "Touch" into the search bar. This will show a variety of options, including the "Pen and Touch" options. Double-click it to open the "Pen and Touch" window.
2. Check the boxes next to the "Use your finger as an input device" and, if preferred, check the "Enable multi-touch gestures and inking" box as well.
3. Click "Apply" to set the options and click "OK" to exit the window.

Hope this helps!

Touch Screen won't work on Windows

Is it running Windows TabletPC operating system? This version of the OS includes support for the touch screen.

There is also a known Microsoft problem that this might be related to. You can check out this link for more information: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914444/en-us

BTW, Microsoft does not charge for calling to get a hotfix like the one listed in this article.
