Check and replace all the non-electrolytic capacitors at the horizontal output section circuit. If LDT [Line Driver Transformer] or line drive transistor and its associated components have any fault, this kin of fault can occur. Check it too. google.com/+GopakumarGopalan

My samsung syncmaster 794 monitor light is blinking but monitor not get on


If you tested that to another working CPU but the same problem before, i think that monitor has a problem in horizontal section, check the B+ atlaest 175v if is it normal the power supply is ok, check the H.O.T horizontal output transistor, remove or hang the 3 pins then power on the monitor, if the led did not blinking the H.O.T has fault may be leak,open or shorted.

hello, usually if your panny is blinking it means theres trouble with your power supply but depending on the number of blinks cuased by a fualty or shorted internal board and this will cuase your tv to go into shutdown mode, it depends on your model number and year it was made.
your best bet is to have a qualified service tech give you a estimate for the repair needed. as long as your screen is okay it will be easy for the service tech to locate and fix your trouble

panasonic blinking codes can pin point the troubled internal part, these blinking fualts are cuase by internal boards with malfunctioning circuts info below for 10th gen 2007 2008 plasma model service

12 Blinks SOS:
On the A board, transistor Q2301 monitors the Sound 15V line and the operation of the audio power amplifier IC2301. If the audio output circuit, IC2301, or the 15V lines develops a short to ground, transistor Q2301 goes into conduction and applies a high to pin 118 of the MPU, IC1100, triggering a SOS condition. The power LED blinks 12 times.
12 Blinks SOS: We have also discovered that 12 blinks of the power LED may also be caused by a defective SS board. To determine the source of the shutdown, disconnect the connector D5 and connect the unit to the AC source. If the panel turns on and the LEDs of the SS and SC boards stay on, the problem is on the A board. If the panel does not stay on, the problem is likely to be the SS board.

Red light blinks 9 times on Panasonic TH-42PZ77U


hello, panasonic plasmas have a safety shut down circut to protect the main panel when a short is present or internal circut panel is non functional some info i found in the service manual for 10th generation plasma
if your tv is still under warantee take advantage of the pany free service other wise it is a matter of exchanging the defective board then you will need electronic skills for this repair if you plan to do it yourself. it would be wise to have a skilled tech check it out and give you a estimate there are some techs that will come out and check it for free and give you a repair price.

here are some repair manual tips for blinking panasonic .. i didnt find 9 blinks on this manual i may be using a different manual but these are panasonic plasma blinking fault tips for 10th gen
becuase all models have different blinking codes you may need the model specific service manual

for 10th gen model some models 2008,2007,

8 Blinks SOS:
Pin 91 of the MPU IC9003 monitors the status of the SS board. During normal operation, pin 8 of connector SS23 outputs a low to pin 91. If the SS board becomes defective, a high is provided to pin 91. As a result, the unit shuts down and the power LED blinks 8 times.

If a short circuit is developed in one of the supplied lines, pin 114 of IC1100 receives a high. The SUB5V and DT9V lines are also monitored for excessive voltage. When an over-voltage condition is detected, a high is also output to pin 114 of IC1100. The DT9V is provided to a DC/DC converter to create the BT30V for the tuner. If the BT30V becomes excessive, a high is output to pin 114 of IC1100. A high at pin 114 of IC1100 causes the unit to shutdown and the power LED to blink 10 times.

Wd-52525 lamp light not resetting

1. Check for an open AC fuse F9D00, if open check for a short on the 340v line to the lamp ballast between pin 1 an 5 at connector PL on the Power PCB, if shorted replace PWB-POWER LAMP (Ballast) part # 939P978010 and F9D00 part # 283D131040 2. Check for open AC fuse F9D00 part # 283D131040, if open check for proper seating of connector K1 on the Power PCB

NO POWER

1. Red status LED, self-diagnosis error 44, check for open F9A06 on the Power PCB part # 283P128050 on the Power PCB 2. Red lamp LED, self diagnosis error 34. Check for 5-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 1 and 2 on the Engine Driver PCB if missing replace the Power PCB part # 930B921002 3. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. This model is equipped with a keyboard lock feature, this can be mistaken as a no power condition. To unlock the keyboard press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds 4. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Check for 3.2 volts DC at connector LE pin 3 and 4 on the Control PCB, if low suspect problems with the switches/buttons on the Control PCB part # 935D776001 5. 2 Blinks SOS: Pin 87 of the MPU IC9003 monitors the 15V line. During normal operation, the transistors Q9053 and Q9054 output a high to pin 87. If the 15V line is missing or shorted, a low is provided to pin 87. As a result, the unit shuts down and the power LED blinks 2 times.
3 Blinks SOS: IC9807 is a 3.3V regulator located on the D board. Its output is monitored by IC9003. If the 3.3V is not present at pin 86, the MPU shuts down the unit. The power LED blinks 3 times.
5 Blinks SOS: Pin 85 of the MPU IC9003 monitors the 5V line. During normal operation, the transistors Q9051 and Q9052 output a high to pin 85. If the 5V line is missing or shorted, a low is provided to pin 85. As a result, the unit shuts down and the power LED blinks 5 times.

SYMPTOMS
Dead or Shutdown symptoms.
RESOLUTION
Dead symptom reported to be caused by the following:
1. Dead.
Found Q601 & Q602 shorted, R615 open, and IC600 on the A Board were the cause of the symptom.

2. Dead.
Found D614, Zener diode, on B+ line was shorted.

3. Set shutdown and the standby LED blinks 3 then 5 times.
Found 200v line was low. Disconnected CN706 on the C Board and found 200v now
present on CN706/pin 7.
Found: IC702 (C board) shorted the 200 volt line.
HQ Comments: C541 on the A Board could become defective if the 200v line is shorted since
the polarity on the capacitor will become reversed. R553 fuse resistor could also be opened
on the A Board.

4. Error code of 4 blinks .
Dead set press power button you hear the relay and you see red led flash 3 times and stops? Has no HV or other action. Tech removed the back as no 200 volt supply, did unplug CN706 and now has 200volts. Tech did remove the IC702 and same it comes up so needs this IC.

5. Dead. 5 blinks then 3 blinks. Found shorted Damper diode D504. Q502 has a built in damper, as well.

6. The TV does not turn On and the LED flashers 9 times.
Found one side of R610 open on the Base of Q690 on the A board.

7. Dead, 9 flashes, Q606
Would not start when cold, has stand by 5 but relay never energize.
No response from front panel or remote controls.
9 blinks is not in service manual.

Found Q606 (Zero Det.), on the A Board, had no soldered on the collector
of the transistor causing an intermittent connection.
Soldered the collector of Q606 and set returned to operation.
HQ Comments: Also refer to E30968554.

8. Dead. 5 blinks or 3 blinks
Found on the A Board D611 in the Power Supply open, and Hor. Output Q502 shorted.

9. Found Power Supply components D611 shorted causing Q600, Q601, and R615
to fail on the A Board.

10. No picture or sound. Standby flashes.
Found Q512 (Pin Out) shorted. on the A Board.





11. Dead. No sound or picture.
Found the FBT and Q502 were shorted, and R615 open on the A Board.

12. Dead
No power, Stand by light flashes 4 times.
Found T604 and IC601, replaced.
Found D611 on the A Board was the cause of the symptom.

13. Dead.
Found D534 shorted on the A Board.

14. Shutdown 4 Blinks.
Replacing R595, OCP Latch Q532 on the A Board, fixed the set.
PN 1-247-891-00, 330K 1/4 watt.

15. Unit shuts down after 15 mins.
Immediate shutdown - sometimes it give a 3 blink, sometimes nothing.
Found R595 (330K) was open located in the Q532 OCP Latch circuit.
R595 P/N 124789100 330k 1/4w

16. Won't power up. LED Blinks 4 times, B+ is very low
B+ is at 49V, +15/-15 only coming up to about 1 volt.
Wth Hor Out disconnected B+ only comes up to 50v.
Found D611 on the A Board was the cause of the symptom.

17. Intermittently does not turn on
Found a intermittent C633 on pin # 3 of IC600.
