The transmission is purely mechanical and the gears don't just disappear, I think there is a problem with the clutch. The clutch release bearing may have stuck on the front stator shaft of the transmission and did not release, when this happens the car will not move even if in gear.
You could disconnect the cable at the transaxle if you need to manually shift the trans, but you would need to disassemble the steering column to move the shift lever without unlocking the key cylinder.
The main aerial goes into the box,then a flylead out of the box into the tv(if you have a vcr or dvd rec then it will go in there first then out into the tv).Then connect the box to the tv with a scart lead.
plug your low input into the subwoofer output of your reciever.that should get the sub working then you have to run speaker wire from your speaker outputs on your reciever into your sub in the top row of inputs then the outputs on the back of sub(the bottom row of speaker hookups go out to your speakers....my email is [email protected] if you still cant get it i can talk you through it on there or ill give you my instant messenger name is you still have problems good luck,b
