I have a speed queen top loader washing machine it start with the washing sickle and the timer stop when it must start to spin or rinse and i replace the timer with a new one

There is sometimes a pause between wash and spin. This allows a little time to pump the water out before starting to spin. Do you hear the pump running between wash and spin?

My speed queen is not rinsing, the water is still in my machine. What could be the problem? Do I need to call a technician?

Check the lint filter drain from clogging... socks have a tendency to lodge inside. If the drain is clogged, the water level sensor will not advance the program to spin.

Hello Mohiddin,
The most probable cause of your troubles is the lid switch, the washer will fill and agitate with the lid open but the lid must be closed for it to spin(yes i know the lid is closed but if the switch is defective it doesnt think it is closed)

Hope this helps
Good luck,Gene

The Speed Queen Top Loading Washing machine used by my condo doesn't drain completely after the wash cycle. It normally leaves half of the wash water in the tub then fills the rinse water on top of it. ...

You are absolutely right, whoever told you otherwise is full of ____!! The wash water has to completely drain out and if it isn't there may be an obstruction of some kind in the pump if this is happening all the time. It could be a child's sock, or a bra wire, something like that. Have someone reputable check it out for you.

Sludge build up in the agitator caused by the water softener

I use ammonia and hot, hot water to clean the film or sludge from my washing machine.
Add (2) cups of ammonia, set the washer water temp to hot and fill it to high or large/extra large load. Agitate for (5) minutes and let soak over night.
Skim off any sludge that is floating then allow the washer to run through the rinse cycle. Re-rinse a couple of times to clear the system.
Good luck and let me know.

Speed queen wont spin or rinse

i would guess you have something blocking the pump. take off the hoses on the pump and see if there is a sock or something in the hose.
be aware that when you take the hoses off there will be water trying to get out, so have a bucket and towels ready. it is best if you can pinch off the hose first, but not everyone has a way to pinch the hose.

28+ year old- Speed Queen Heavy Duty top loader

It sound like you drain hose is siphoning off the rinse water, It needs a standpipe make sure the drain hose is at about the height of the top of the washer, Make sure the drain hose isnt stuck in the drain it also needs an air cap. the drain hose should not lay on the floor to run to the drain

Please let me know if this doesnt solve your problems

Friend,
ngfam1 At your service!

AFTER 15 YEARS AND THREE repairs.
I threw mine in the trash and bought a Speed Queen Commercial grade washer and thats the last one I will ever by!
8 loads a week for 25 years!!!!!!!

The washers and dryers today use so much less water, electricity, and detergent that they pay for them selves after a only a few years.
My advise is, do not put good money into a washer that is 20 years old! it is cheaper to buy, run, and operate a new efficient machine! You will see you water and electric bill reduced!!!!!!!!!
Speed Queen commercial grade top loader uses only 34 gallon of water compared to the others at 48-54 gallons!
Their front load washer uses, (GET THIS) ONLY 13.9 GALLONS of water and washes in 35 minutes and the clothes are cleaner and last longer cause it uses water agitation instead of a vain to wear out your clothes! How about spinning at 750 RPM and the clothes come out so dry they are only in the dryer half the time than all the other machines! Thus half the gas or electric bill!!
All my employees have replaced their laundry pairs with Speed Queen!
My Guys call it the, "No Brainer Machine!"

I hope you can utilize the good advice I so enjoy sharing with all the good people we talk to!
