Parts can be ordered form www.toolpartsdirect.com. Air regulator should be adjusted with very little air pressure in the system. If you are adjusting the regulator with full tank pressure, you are overworking the plastic parts within. Over time, water will rust parts inside of the regulator. I would order the complete regulator. You could also remove the regulator part of the manafold and use full pressure to the quick connects. If you need to regulate the air pressure down a bit, purchase a universal regulator and install quick connect fittings. Male fitting to air in and female fitting to discharge port. Install this regulator to one of the quick connect fitting on the a/c. Good luck
Remove main battery and try again, if no! have the power supply adapter checked for correct voltage, if okay! the DC jack in the laptop is a common source of trouble, computer must be dismantled down to the motherboard level, there are bad solder connections on the flip side of the circuit board that will need to be addressed.
Can you manually adjust the voltage on the generator without load?? If you have 120/240 60hz output on it and you are not overloading the unit (amperage), then it may be as simple as adjusting whats called your gain setting for your voltage regulator. Obviously you are seeing what happens when it is set too low. Trying raising that setting until it becomes unstable then back it off. Unstable meaning voltage starts jumping all over.
Most of the small portable generators will depend on the engine speed to
regulate the voltage. If the motor is at the correct speed you are getting 120 volts 60 hertz, if not it will read lower like 115 volts 55 hertz or so. This can be fixed by adjusting the governor, or idle speed needle.
According to the parts pdf, there is no voltage regulator. Voltage is adjusted by the rpm of the engine. If your have a meter that reads hertz (Hz), you can set the engine rpm by adjusting hertz to 60 cycles (Hz). At 60 cycles the engine is running at about 3600 rpm. Most engines develop their max horsepower at this rpm. If you are loosing power/voltage and the engine speed is not dropping below 3600, than most likely could be problem with capacitor, brushes or diode (bridge diode). The diode converts ac voltage from stator to direct current to power the magnet (rotor). Check for brush wear and test capacitor for value printed on part. It should test with 5% of stated value. Diode can also be easily tested with meter. Good holidays
On CRT projectors, there is a part called a focus block with adjustments for each picture tube. A sudden loss of focus is pointing to something else, a change in the high voltage. Poor high voltage regulation will cause a loss of focus. If your loss of focus has been gradual, you can try adjusting the controls on the focus block. The focus block is usually a square or rectangular block, usually mounted on the front behind a panel or on the rear behind a panel. it will have a series of red wires coming out of it. There usually are 6 adjustments on the block, 3 for screen voltages and 3 for focus. Be sure you adjusting the right ones, they are usually labeled.
