Assemble it with motor secure and base & feet on. Drill 3 or 4mm hole in edge of coupling Put screwdriver into hole on a large angle and whack the handle to undo the coupling. You are whacking it to turn in the same direction it turns when the motor is running.

The jug part is stuck on motor , how can I separate the two parts ?

Brute Force, but make sure you are turning the top anticlockwise. Have two people with dishwashing rubber gloves for grip. One holds the base one the worktop and the other turns.

I'm using the single serve mixer and it's stuck on the base and won't come off!

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
  1. Unplug the blender and remove the jar. Undo the screws securing the baseplate. Separate the baseplate and attached motor collar from the base housing.
  2. To remove the switch housing, remove the decorative facing to get at the top screws. Remove the lower screws from inside the blender base.
  3. Hold the fan to keep the motor shaft from turning as you unscrew the drive stud. Remove the shield and any washers. Unscrew the fan nut to remove the fan.
  4. Disengage the strain-relief fitting from the housing. Remove the wire connector joining the power cord and the lead to the brush housing.
  5. Label and disconnect the lead wires from the switch block. Remove the motor mounting bolts and lift out the motor if necessary.
  6. To free brushes, remove the leads attached to the brush housing. Use a screwdriver to press lead terminal through the slot in housing. The brush spring may pop out (don't lose it!).

Blade stuck in nutribullet

I took it apart by removing the rubber spindle and three small screws. Then soak it in vinegar and rinse to remove food gunk. Lastly, re-lube with cooking oil (I used olive oil) by pouring onto back shaft and spinning the blades to suck in the oil. Reassemble. I still have to replace mine as the spindle is loose due to the bearings being worn out but at least it is useable again until then.

Margaritaville blender/trying to replace lower coupler but cannot get old one loose with instructions sent

You are going to be pissed when you find out the solution because the company that makes the blender uses a special screw that requires a special slotted screw driver to remove the bottom panel. Here\'s what I did to circumvent their crummy design, your mileage may vary. Turn the machine on its side or upside down so that you can comfortably reach the bottom panel. Down there you will find a variety of screws holding on the bottom plate. They must all be removed before you can remove said plate. I\'m writing this from memory so please go easy on me if some of the instructions are slightly askew. I think there are five screws that you can easily remove with a standard Phillips head screw driver. The one near the front is slightly smaller. Next, comes the part where you ask yourself what were they thinking. The screw looks like a standard screw but the center of the screw is not milled out making it impossible to remove the screw without a special tool. On top of that, the screws are recessed in the housing making it especially onerous. Fortunately, I had a small pair of needle nosed pliers that were just long enough and strong enough that you could grab the center part of the screw, squeeze hard and put enough torque on the screw head to remove it. The recessed screws are particularly hard to reach and remove but they are doable with enough persistence. I think there were four of these bastard screws . one screw is relatively easy to get to and the other three are much harder. Two of the screws are hidden underneath the grey rubber feet near the back where the power cord connects to the main unit. Once all screws are removed you can slide off the back panel although it will still be connected to the main unit. Finally you will see a grey belt that connects the blade to the motor. I just held the blade spindle from underneath with one hand and grabbed the top gear with my other hand and twisted the drive gear until it unscrews and comes off. Install the new gear by screwing it on in the opposite direction and you are good to go. I threw out the bastard screws and replaced them with comparable length Phillips screws so I never have to endure this atrocity again. Once all the screws are replaced on the bottom panel you should be good to go. I don\'t remember who makes the machine but shame on you. You needlessly complicated a simple repair. Good luck !

The motor on the Bamix hand mixer is working properly yet the spindle will not spin. It appears as if it is not engaging. The spindle is not jammed.

there is a rubber connetion between the motor spline and the spindle which holds the screw that connects to the spindle, this has broken

Those small plastig bungs do come out, you will need a fine probe to prise them out then you will see 2 philips head screws which hold it all together, not sure how you will tighten your shaft though, looks like it might be moulded into the plastic retainer, good luck! on mine the motor bearings are seized,

Repairing the blender:
My guess: You worked the motor too hard on your last blending session and it overheated. That will cause a thermal fuse inside to cut off. The blender won't work again until you replace the fuse but otherwise it should be fine. The fuse looks like a white diode and it will be attached tightly to the motor with a nylon strap (so that it can pick up the heat of the motor). The leads to the fuse are shielded with heat resistant nylon wrap. You will need to remove the rubber drive gear in order to remove the plastic house so you can work, although if you are really handy you might be able to at least test the unit by only removing the plastic bottom on the base unit.

To remove the plastic housing, remove the little rubber feet and then remove all of the screws on the bottom of the unit. You may need to buy a bit set for tamper resistant screws (I ***hate*** those), I don't remember. When the bottom is removed, you will see that the there is a screw head on the bottom of the central motor shaft. You can use a screw driver here to hold the motor from turning, then you can carefully use a pliers to unscrew the rubber drive gear on the top of the base unit (try not to damage the rubber). With the gear removed you can get access to the wires.

To test the fuse unit, just check its continuity. Short=good, open=bad. To further test, short out the fuse with a jumper cable and your blender should work.

EPO (Electronics Parts Outlet) in Houston, TX, has the replacement fuse unit. I don't know that they like mail order.
