Machine stops sewing with E5 fault - Elna 7200 Pro Computerized Sewing Machine

9 times out of 10 it is incorrect threading,,,
Re-thread the machine make sure to use every thread guide
check to see if the bobbin is in correctly and you are using an appropriate needle for the fabric and thread for the needle!
Your needle could also be at fault--normally flat side goes to the back,
clean under the needle plate & bobbin case for lint or loose threads.

The start/stop button was pressed while the foot controller
was connected.

Disconnect the foot controller,

and then press the start/

stop button. Otherwise,

operate the machine by
using the foot controller.

On automatic sewing machines, the start/stop button was pressed while the foot controller was plugged in. Unplug the foot controller if you are using the automatic function.
