Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
Usually this error message means the computer doesn't "see" your hard drive. Remove the power cord then remove the side panel of the computer case. Check that the hard drive power cable and data cable are both plugged in firmly to the hard drive and to the motherboard. Plug the power cord back in and try booting up.

The hard drive data cable or power cable may have come loose. But if there isn't some very obvious simple problem of a loose connection, I'd say take it back to the store for an exchange. If you really just bought it there should be no problem with an exchange, You'll probably be more comfortable with a replacement.

Please verify if you don;t have a floppy disk in your drive. If you don't then you have to verify in BIOS if is selected proper boot device - HDD.
If everything is set then you have problem with your hard disk, must check and install new operating system.
