SOURCE: fax sending problem
It sounds like you have a few problems. First, the comm error usually means there was a problem communicating with the other fax. This maybe caused by a phone line issue, or a bad connection. You will have to replace you ink but that does not have anything to do with your sending issues. As far as the pages getting stuck, the separation pad under the top cover should be cleaned. If you lift up the cover where you load your pages to be sent, and look in there(on the backside of the keyboard)you will see a flat square rubber piece. Clean it thoroughly with a rag and some rubbing alcohol. Also clean the rubber rollers as well. Good luck John

Changed transmission mode to normal in order to get rid of EMC error. Caution! depends on your telephone line or modem, for DSL is good for normal mode at 14400 bps else set it to basic mode at 9600 bps.
