Kenmore Coldspot model#106.53359300 the ice maker not making/dispencing any ice, help?

Make sure the metal lever on the ice maker is in the lower on position. Check that the water valve for the 1/4 inch supply line is attached to the fridge and to the valve . Screw that water valve all the way in and then all the way out.

I have a Kenmore Coldspot (mfg date 10/00), model 106.70192001. The ice maker is NOT hooked up (by choice) and for the last several weeks, there has been water draining from freezer into fridge in a cyclic...

Your drain line is frozen and is not allowing the defrost water to drain to the pan below. You will need to remove the rear panel in the freezer and thaw the drain line. Make sure ALL ice is thawed before reassembling. I would recommend installing a drain heater so it will not happen again. They are inexpensive and easy to install. They come with complete instructions.

How do I turn on the icemaker for my new used Kenmore coldspot Model # 106.56534400.

Hello. The icemaker needs to be plumbed into your cold water system to work and it also has an on off lever, usually a wire inside of the area where the ice cubes accummulate. Assumming that your fridge is plumbed already, just follow that little 1/4 inch line to where it is hooked into a larger pipe and you should see a small valve which also has to be turned on. Remember when turning a valve that right is tight and left is loose sooooooooooo turn it to the left [counter clockwise]. Regards, Joe

2002 Kenmore coldspot 51262103 model number Just hooked it up to water and it runs slow and the ice maker is blinking red.

Not sure if I resolved the issue, but after defrosting my icemaker, with a blow dryer for a second time. It seems to be working fine again.

Is it possible maybe there was some ice build up and every time it added more water for the ice cubes the water level was to high making it impossible for the auger to push the ice thru?

Kenmore ice maker

yes you need to hook up a line froun the cold water supply of the house to the water valve that is located at the back of the ref to the water valve that is down at the botton right corner
follow the water line from the top going into the icemaker down to the bottom there is where the valve is located behind the back cover

Please help

Are you installing a ice maker kit? If the ice maker is already installed all you have to do is connect it to the potable water supply in the back of the refrigerator and lower the bail arm to put it into operation.
