I now live in France and have just purchased a "Virgin Net work" French mobile phone the same make and model as my English "Virgin Net Work" mobile, I assumed that the instructions would be the same in the French instruction manual as in the English version but I now find that they differ and I do not have enough French language skill's to telephone my IMEI number over the French telephone system so would you please assist me to retrieve my P.I.N. number.
My IMEI number is 354521010793906

the phone is region dependent.
what i mean to say is... if you have purcahse a phone within a region that has french as an alternate language you can definitely set your phone to French but if not then theres no way you can change the language to french with the phone alone.
you can check on this:
menu > settings> general > personalization> language > phone language.

French supplied phone are unlocked. It's illegal for the devices to be locked on a French network. I need the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number. Type this code in your phone to get it: *#06# you can also find it beneath the battery. I also need to know the make and model of phone, the network that the phone is locked on, and the country the network is from. Then I will give you the codes. You say you're in France using Orange!. Orange from which country?
if you buy any virgin mobile phone the lock code is always the last 4 digits of your cell number if you buy it used from someone then you have to either get the last for digits of their number or take it in to virgin mobile and have then change it for you
