Please follow these instructions to resolve the problem.

Click on the start button, then select Device manager. Check and see if your mouse and touchpad are listed under Asus Sonic Master"Mice and Other Pointing Devices, If your mouse is not listed in Device Manager, you need to Reinstall the mouse Drivers. If they are listed but are have a yellow or red mark beside them, then try right clicking on the mouse listed and selecting disable then enable it after a few seconds by right clicking on it again. If that does not help, Reinstall the Mouse drivers. If that fails then the mouse if faulty.

My cursor jumps all of the page when I'm typing on my Gateway NV76R45u laptop. what am I doing?

There's one possibility that may or may not be a fix... interference from cordless phones can make your cursor do very strange things. If there's a cordless phone around, move it away from the laptop and see if that helps. Cleaning your touchpad with a damp cloth may also help.. just a speck of dirt or dust can throw things off. You might try adjusting the sensitivity on your touchpad (through control panel). If these suggestions don't at least help, try Gateway's support site. Good luck.

How do I replace the f1 fuse in my gateway 7326

Will it boot? Fan spin? LED's blink? Sound? Try connecting to a external monitor, does it show desktop? The screen is all black, no cursor at top left? No "ghost Image" in the screen when viewed in a bright light? I would look at the inverter board, backlighting, ribbon cable in the rear of the monitor, the LCD screen, your laptop has some miles on it. Not sure about a fuse on a laptop motherboard, don't see that often. Take a look at this may help you troubleshoot:
