Unit was loaded with 5 CD's. Kept getting message 'load CD5'. Nothing was working - wouldn't play, change, eject. Managed to get all CD's out with tweezers! Now nothing happening except numbers running down right hand side flashing orange!!! Have left turned off (except for playing radio) for a few days now and still nothing happening. Any ideas???

I have exactly the same problem as ph1l1p. Has anybody got a soloution yet?

Same problem as several others ... all 5 lights are flashing with one CD already loaded and the others still in the slots ... no way of resetting it.

I followed the advice to remove all of the disks manually (with tweezers) and needed to remove the top of the unit to get the loaded CD out.

However, now that all disks are out, the unit still will not reset and the 5 lights are still flashing. Any ideas for next steps ? Thanks, Kevin.

Hello ph1l1p, You are going to have to open up the unit and manually remove the disks from the carriage which I believe is loaded in a linear fashion. Once the disk are removed see if the unitr powers up and test the functionality of the CD changer. The stuck CDs may be the problem, but if they are not, check the power supply starting from the fuse. If you do not have a background in electronics please take the unit to a shop for repairs. Thank you, Shuttle83

Cd in macbook wont ejec

This can be a problem. First try rebooting the machine, and holding the eject button when you hear the startup tone. Hopefully, that will force-eject it.
If that doesn't work, you'll need to get creative. Get a playing card or something similar, and put some rolled-over tape on one side close to the edge, so there's a sticky side out. Turn the computer off, and try to get the playing card into the CD drive, with the tape making contact with the stuck CD. Reboot, holding the eject button when you hear the eject button again, and pulling the card out. Hopefully, the CD will come out with the card. If it doesn't work, just keep trying, and you'll get it out eventually.
Generally what causes this is keeping CDs in the computer for an extended period of time, especially while the computer is powered off. Make sure you remove all CDs before moving or turning off your computer.

Cd stuck in player

Some cars have a small hole next to the CD opening where you can place a paperclip and the CD will eject. If there is not one or that method doesn't work you will have to risk damaging your CD. Place a paper clip into the opening, underneath the CD and push it up while pressing the eject button.

Hi, The cd disc is not in his place inside the multichanger, you must open the appliance and try to take out the cd without forcing, otherwise you wil brake the mechanical system,
after this the system will work well.

Have a look for a small hole in the front of the CD player - this is the emergency eject button. Find a paper clip, unwind it and then press the paper clip through the hole - the CD should then eject the first CD and you will then be able to eject the others.

Well we have a acer computer and the cd drive is stuck

If pressing the eject button does not eject the tray, look for the small pin hole on the cd drive and insert a paper clip to press that hole. It would manually eject your CD tray. Hope this helps.
