It should just pull forward, make sure its not sitting hard on the floor all fridges should tilt back a little bit, some so the door will almost close by itself.

SOURCE: removing refridgerator grill
Look at the top slots in the grille. If there is a slight cutaway near the ends that is where the release tabs should be. If no release tabs, try a gentle lifting pressure in the grille as you try to pull away. They are made to be removed by the user. Check the manual if you can find it. If no luck, reply, I'll see if I can find one.

The first step is to clean the coils properly. Remove the back cover, and make sure the cooling fan is running. At this point, unplug the machine and with a wand and a push pull vaccuum blow the dirt out of the coils from back to front.
Yes , it's filthy and ugly, but the only proper way yo clean it.
Make sure the cover in the back is properly reinstalled. (See my tips). At the beginning, the divider will be fairly hot, but should slowly cool after enough running time to get the machine to it's normal temperature.

Filters situated in the base grill (below the freezer compartment) of Whirlpool-built side-by-side refrigerators are relatively simple to replace. Follow these two steps:
To replace with a new filter, repeat these two steps in the opposite order, making sure to first remove the red cap from the filter. Proceed by pushing the filter straight into the slot, and then giving it a one quarter turn to the right.
Note: Replacing this type of filter is quick - there is no need to unplug your refrigerator when replacing it. Also, this filter should be replaced every six months.
When you buy the new filter, it usually comes with an instruction sheet.
