The issues is easy to solve, all you need to do is look at the model and serial of the refrigeration unit and we can match up a gasket for you at www.coolergaskets.com. Once you get it they either push in or screw in, typically screw in. So you would unscrew the old gasket and install the new one. Probably looking at about 1 hour to fix it. We have tech support available that can assist also

2004 chevy impala overheating, loosing coolant, smell coolant sometimes

Intake Manifold gasket replacement fixed my very similar issue. New ones from GM are aluminum w/rubberized gasket - old ones plastic with a rubberized gasket - common failure in the 80-100k mile range. My mechanic did it for $620 included sealant, thermostat, valve cover gasket, gasket kit, coolant, pipe, pipe, manifold t and supercharger gasket.

The tank leaks from the two bolts that hold tank to bowl. I replaced bolts and the rubber gasket (it has ears). Slow dripping from two bolts.

Under the heads of the two bolts (inside the tank) there should also be rubber washers. Remove the bolts, clean the bolt holes (in the tank) thoroughly (a nylon scouring pad works). If the rubber washer aren't new, replace them. If the bolts aren't new, replace them too. While you have it apart, thoroughly clean the surfaces where the large rubber gasket seats too, in case your leak is coming from there. If cleaning and new bolts and washers doesn't fix it, you might try some plumbers putty or bathtub silicon caulk (not on the large gasket). Coat the two rubber washer generously all over. Good luck.

Replace boot gasket

Hello, Remove the door hinges and plastic covers on the unused hinge screw holes on the opposite side of the door opening (door is reversible, so there are places to mount hinges left and right). Front panel will now snap out at top and lift off lower spring clips. One screw on each side will now release top panel and it will hinge up. Prop up with broom handle or something. Now you can get at everything. Rubber gasket is held onto drum with a cable loop and very strong spring. It rolls off the lip easily to disassemble but is VERY difficult to get back on without special tools or at least two people. Door side of rubber gasket is easy in comparison with rubber tabs inserted into slots and working the gasket into a groove. Hose clamp at bottom of rubber gasket to connect drain hose.

Thanks

The rubber gasket inside the door falls off.

The gasket will have to be replaced. I've had customers with this problem and the only way to correct it is to replace the gasket
