How do i fix waterproof light when is on?

At base of machine is a drip tray. When a leak occurs the water in the tray causes a polystyrene disc/float to rise and this makes the water leakage switch. The red light then flashes and the machine ceases its programme. By switching off the power, removing the two screws on the plastic kick-board having drained the rubber hoses: large screwed plug with small plastic T and two litres of water so use a bucket low enough to get under the T; and the central hose with a square plastic topped bung that drains the seal. Then you can dry up the tray. When you replace the kick board so that you don't electrocute yourself and switch the power on the door will then open as normal and you should be able to operate the machine. You could also open the door without power by pulling down the plastic strap. But are you sure there is no water in the machine? Finally, what caused the leak is the big question. Hope this is helpful, but could send some to sleep.

Hyow to waterproof a basement wall...

You have to start outside.
First regrade slope of soil away from foundation. Add a drain and tile to direct water away from house.
If necessary dig down along foundation wall and add membrane.
In the basement, add a sump pump to pump out water to keep moisture out.
Clean basement wall, and add some waterproofing paint.

Do I need to ventilate my tent?

If you sealed the seams properly, your tent should now be waterproof enough to keep the rain and dew out. That means it is also waterproof enough to keep moisture condensation in. As you sleep your body gives off moisture through perspiration and breathing. It's no so fun waking up wet. Most tents provide a roof vent and doors or windows with screens and I also advise you to get a ventilator to your tent in order to make your experience more comfortable.

How to waterproof cardboard boxes

Paint or spray the cardboard with a waterproof coating
  • Spray the cardboard with an automotive primer and then let it dry. You can also use a variety of waterproof varnishes to provide this initial waterproof coating for your cardboard. Since you will be painting the cardboard with another layer of protective covering, make sure the substance you use for this initial layer can be painted over.
Next, paint the cardboard with an outdoor latex paint similar to what you would use on the outside of your house. Having these two layers of waterproof sealant--a primer and a latex--should keep your cardboard stiff and dry for quite a while.

My Olympus 1050 SW looks like it might have a little water inside the camera. The lens is foggy. I didn't take it very deep the last time I was in the water with it, but I did store it in a cooler and...

You can TRY and dry out the camera, but I can pretty much guarantee you that there is corrosion inside and it will eventually fail if it hasn't done so already. The Olympus Stylus Tough cameras are not very tough or waterproof unfortunately. I have seen dozens of them with smashed LCD windows or that have leaked water.

Don't buy a waterproof camera, cause they aren't waterproof. Buy an underwater case and put your camera in that.

To try and dry out the camera, some people suggest putting it in a ziplock back with rice to pull out the moisture, it's not a bad thing to try. The fog in the lens MIGHT go away, but it will most likely leave spots or a big ring which will show up on all your pictures.

Your camera is most likely a goner, sorry to say.

Who made these marine binoculars?

Without seeing a picture it is difficult but there is hope. Most binoculars branded by companies other than the big three come from China. Namely the Kunming United Optics Corporation. Just type in United optics China into google. Have a look at the BC 6 in the compact binoculars section they may look like your ones. Not many 8x26 units are nitrogen filled so I'm guessing on this one. They have a support section and may be able to help.
