Microwave manuel starting instructions? or why the buttons wont work except the 3 and 0?

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes.

the pads are touchy its probably been white knuckled too long

I think you are right on the money, the keypad control board is vital to the operation of the microwave oven, if the problem cannot be resolved it will require a complete replacement of the above mentioned part, unfortuneately cost should be considered.

Push the microwave door tightly closed. The computer will not start cooking until the door is closed for safety reasons. Some models of microwave will give a warning on the screen if the door is open.

Ensure you have programmed a heat setting, entered a cooking time and pressed the "Start" button on the microwave's keypad. Check that the microwave is not set to "Defrost" mode.

Unplug the microwave and wait for one minute. This measure will reset the microwave's internal computer if it has frozen or scrambled. Plug the microwave back in and try again.

Ensure the keypad lock mode is inactive. Most microwave ovens have a lockout feature that prevents children from starting the microwave while unsupervised. Lockout mode is usually deactivated by holding down the button that bears a padlock symbol

Here are instructions on setting the time on the maison microwave sold by Aldi:- 1. Press the "clock" button 2. Press the "Cancel" button 3. Enter the time (at least 3 digits need to be entered) 4. Press the "clock" button again Hope this helps

Could be the "board". Well known for failure. Get the part number from the board & search eBay for NEW board.Instructions probably on youtube

Heating element or capacitor fuse

I would say the door interlock switch (or its mount or wiring) has failed.

This is to prevent it from running when the door is open.

It may be shut, but if the signal from the switch is not present, it will not run.
