Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

Sony kvj21mf1ak ...now, I've a nerve wrecking problem here - one concerning my CRT TV unable to play movie in colour (it's playing the thing in B & W) !! I bought a HD (1080 p) Media Player (which is a tiny rectangular connector box) recently which can play almost all the movie/music/image file via USB and onto a TV set. It has got a HDMI out and a AV out through composite cable (Yellow/Red/White). Now, as my TV set is a bit backdated (Sony model no. KVJ21MF1AK) with RF (for antenna/cable input) and video in/out (composite), I connected the HD Media Player to the TV set through the supplied composite cable and played a video file. It played ok, but, the picture on my TV screen was B & W. I tried my best with colour scheme options available on my TV (PAL/NTSC) and tried to match with the device which has also got colour scheme option (PAL/NTSC). But, alas....!! The picture remained B & W.

It sounds like either the TV or the device is trying to do S video instead of composite video.
see if you can change the output type of the media player and make sure that the TV input is not set to S Video.

SOURCE: I cannot play the movie file from my k750i

It will be in 3gp format.. Try quicktime player.. It should play that file.. Or you can convert the 3gp format into a avi format and play it in windows media or vlc player..For converting the file you can use total video converter or any other free converters..
Hope that helped..

SOURCE: Hi I am trying to

Hi,

Just check the AV Cable and is it working perfectly?
Do continuity testing to find any fault.
If you get black and white the problem is mainly with the video format.Change the format and check it.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

Original DVD plays black and white

It seems that you have get the color system setting of your Tv wrong. Sony uses the Pal(it's a format for the transmission of signals) color system , so check into your TV's color system settings and change it to pal , if that doesnt work then change it to Ntsc.
