SOURCE: leak at spout pivot point on Kohler K-378 traditional kitchen fau

Not going to stop the leak by tightening. Go to local plumbing or home store and they make a repair kit that has the pieces to fix your problem. Also has a diagram on the back of the kit to guide you, its really an easy fix, shut off water under the sink, both hot and cold, and just remove the handle and unscrewing the top of the valve assembly. Good luck dont forget to rate.

SOURCE: My faucet leaks where the base of the spout meets

the problem is most likely a bad seal or O-ring. turn off water under the sink, remove the handle from the unit and the remove cartridge from inside the faucet and examine the seals. if you need to replace the cartridge then replace it. but before you do - try and tighten the cartridge body down into the unit and see if that will stop the leak. don't tighten to tight though as this could make the function hard to turn or damage the unit.
if you need to buy a new cartridge - take the old one down to your local hardware store or a plumbing supply store and match it up to a new one. the cost is about 25 dollars ( depending on where you live ).
if you need further help -- please feel free to write me back here and I will do my best to walk you through the steps needed.

Your dispenser nut is either not tightened down underneath or your plastic base/o-ring needs to be replaced. Turn off water at value. Using sink nut removal & installation tool that is available at any Lowe's or Home Depot. Remove it and look at what is wrong. Conntact Kohler for free parts to repair it. Reinstall dispenser .

I have a kohler 77809-aa shower tub. The drain is clogged. How do you remove the drain. I see no set screws. But I do see a couple of pins near the top of the drain cap.

If you want to clear your clogged drain you do not need to take the drain cap off. First you need to remove the over flow plate, it's located right below the faucet and has two screws, then you need to hand snake the drain line from there.

Leaking kohler faucet

Where the spout pivots on the main body, there are a couple of washers, you can replace these washers pretty easily by removing the handle and then the "cover" from the unit. The water has to be shut off before you do this. I would take this oppurtunity to replace all the washers.
