Testimonial: "Thank you very much for the solution to my problem. I have an electric hot water heater and I am switching to nat.gas, the new nat gas heater needs a 120 volt plug to run a fan to exhaust the fumes outside, I figured I could use the same wire from the breaker box to the electric water heater and just switch it from 240v to 120v and wire in a electical box and plug in the end of the wire that is now on the electric water heater thus saving running another wire and having one dead, I didnt know how to wire the main breaker box to do this but with your pictures I have figured it out, just take out the 240 breaker and switch it for a 120 breaker and leave the one red hot wire capped off. Thanks again."
