SOURCE: I have Whirlpool Mark I series . Came with the

Good day,
That isthe compressor not starting. Remove the back cover and inspect the compressor.
There is a cover on the side of the compressor, that contains the starting components for the compressor.
They, include the overload, the start relay, and on some models a start/run capacitor.
These components can be taken to an appliance parts house. They are usually more than happy to tset them,
If any test bad, replace. If they test O.K.
Then your compressor has failed, and would require calling a qualified refrigerator tech.
My experience is ........
The Mark series of Whirlpool rarely had the compressor last 15 years.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Custom Series refrigerator leaks -Model ET18JKXSN05

It sounds like the line you found is for draining the water from the defrost cycle. It should drain the water from melting the ice into the pan at the bottom so it will evaporate. Sounds like its being clogged is the cause of the water in your fridge.

My Whirlpool Mark Series Model # EB19MK is not cooling or freezing. Compressor is working, fan is working. Does it have reset button?

No reset of that kind. Did you loose cooling gradually over several days? if yes, you may have a problem with the defrost system causing an excessive frost buildup in the freezer section. symptoms would be excessive frost on freezer back wall. Possibly a bad defrost heater. Replace defective part and manually defrost refrigerator before re-starting.

Can you look at the rear wall of the freezer and see if frost is building like in this photo HERE If this is happening on the wall of freezer this is what it will look like behind the rear wall of the freezer HERE Here is a link to a post with the model number HERE Having the model number helps determine just what components may be defective and causing the refrigerator to warm up. Let me know what your model number is and what you see going on. If this is not happening this way tell me so I can advise you on resolving the problem. My contact me information can be found at the top of my website Thanks Sea Breeze
This could be another problem (like a defective fan) other than defrost so please explain how cold is each compartment freezer and fresh food section?

How to change temperature control on Whirlpool refriigerator?

There are many different models of Whirlpool Refrigerators and not all have the same temperature controls. Are you replacing the thermostat or a electronic digital controls? Look inside the door frame of the fresh food compartment on walls and door frame itself for the model number. JT3_5_2013_5_42_46_am.jpg

What is the cubic feet measurement for a GE Model TBX18 refrigerator? Also, what is its width and height?

The capacity depends on the exact model number. The TBX18TABWW and similar models are 17.6 cu. ft. The refrigerator holds 13.6 cu. ft. and the freezer 4 cu. ft. This model is 64.25" tall, including the hinge, 28" wide, and 31.25" deep.

The GE S series, including
TBX18SIBRWW, are 18.2 cubic feet; the specs are 13.04 cu. ft. for the fridge and 5.13 for the freezer. Total height (including the hinge is) 64.75", 29.375" wide and 31.5" deep including the handle. (It takes up 58" with the door open.)

The J series has the same total capacity and dimensions as the S series.

Remember to leave 0.75" free on both sides and 1" at the back and top for air to circulate around the refrigerator.

You can find your exact models specs and manuals here: http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/literature/ . Enter the model number in the search box and click submit. Dimensions are provided in the Quick Specs for most refrigerators. The model number will be on a plaque in any of the following spots:
1) On the ceiling of the freezer near the front
2) By the temperature control
3) On the inside wall of the refrigerator near the crisper drawer on either side
4) Behind the crisper drawer
5) On the bottom front of the refrigerator

I hope this helps.
