Cannot connect Youtube on iphone

I FINALLY GOT YOUTUBE WORKING on 1.1.4...
Step 1: backup your settings and files on itunes
Step 2: restore iphone to default( this will erase everything)
Step 3: try Youtube before Jailbreak to make sure its working
Step 4: ***important*** run ziphone for JAILBREAK only!
YouTUBE remains working. when I tried to DO-IT-ALL youtube never worked afterwards.
Step 5: Sync iphone to get your settings, contacts, emails back

mine 1.1.2 firmware failed to run youtube after put those 3 files in my iphone....and i try solution 1 same failed....what should i do? ty

I tried every fix on every site! After trying them all I finally found one that worked. Thanks to RYU ^^b Solution #5. I am using 1.1.3.

First, get this http://soundsgood.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/files/youtube.zip

after you extract this file, you will get three files. then put them in the /var/root/Library/Lockdown/ with WinSCP or some tools.

And reboot your iPhone, then Youtube should be worked.

the right steps are go to installer and:
1. add i.unlock.no source
2. install youtube activation under Unlock tools
3. restart the iphone
4. uninstall youtube activation
5. restart the iphone
6. install youtube activation
7. restart the iphone
8. test the youtube app. It will work now

You dont know anything man, if the youtube says 'you must first connect~enable youtube,' then there is a way to fix it perfectly.

Iphone says that I must first connect to iTunes with and internet connection to enable YouTube. I have an unlock iphone, someone knows what to do? The answer of the 3 files before i try it but it is not clear where to put them... cheers!

Here is something crazy, I got so annoyed with not having you tube or email even after attempting the fix, that I decided to re-lock my phone with Ziphone. Well at the end it crashed, and my phone was a $400 paper weight. I then unlocked it again(after placing the correct files in the directory(prior to the re-locking process), and suddenly everything works, and I am using 1.1.3

The youtube problem exists because there is no wifi connection. You need to goto settings than click on wifi

Heres how i fixed it:
Ok, so after attempting everything and it all failing, i decided to reinstall, then unlocked using ZiPhone, a full featured iPhone unlocker. This program fixed the problem =) hope this helps

I TRIED ALL OF THE CANNOT CONNECT TO YOU TUBE FIXES, & I THINK WHEN I DOWNLOADED THE ZIPHONE3.0 & IT CAME WITH THE TWEAKS 1.1.4
A) INSTALL IT
B)RESTART
C)TRY YOU TUBE.. IF IT DOESNT WORK
D)UNINSTALL IT & REPEAT A THRU D....

ALOT OF PPL SAY THINGS WORKED FOR THEM THAT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME.. BUT THE ONLY LINK TO ME GETTING YOU TUBE WAS USING THE TWEAKS FOR 1.1.4

For it works only if the iPhone is connected to the computer directly - not WiFi

Make sure your time and date are set correctly before applying other fixes, the certificates generated need to be for the right date or you won't get access.
