there is a thermostat fitted to the electrical wires, this will be the problem, you can sometimes fix them buy putting the copper connection back to its original place, over time and short term use the bent and get stuck, it's like over heating. to stop this you make sure you don't have the thermostat set to low setting, were by its on for a few minutes then off again.
