Hi folks,

I have a blade less-fan, it doesn't oscillate and also has a flashing blue light.
I tried to reset it as advised on this site however in my case it did not work.
Now here it is friends...Unplug power cord and wait till blue light dims out. Get an insulated screwdriver and short out the all the power plug pins (must be unplugged from power) Turn it on and the fan works.
Have not worked out how to get it to oscillate again and any tips would be great. (Yes I am into electronics)
Also I would like to say that the Dyson fans have been far too expensive and that is why people buy the Chinese ones.
May I also say that this is a wonderful site to help people solve problems and would just like to thank the originator.

Thanks
Paul...Syd Australia

OKAY I HAVE A POSSIBLE SOLUTION! THERE SHOULD BE A GREEN LIGHT AT THE TOP OF THE REMOTE AND A BLUE LIGHT AT THE BOTTOM. YOU NEED TO TURN OFF THE BOTTOM SWITCH, WHERE THE BLUE LIGHT IS, FOR 5 SECONDS THEN BACK ON. THEN HOLD THE CENTER STOP BUTTON FOR 5 SECONDS AS WELL. THIS WILL ALLOW FAN AND REMOTE TO RESYNCHRONIZE, IF BLUE AND GREEN LIGHTS BLINK TWICE THEN U HAVE SUCCESSFULLY RESET BOTH FAN AND REMOTE. IF THIS DOESN'T WORK CALL MINKA AIRE TECH SUPPORT 1-800-221-7977. GOOD LUCK!

When charging battery green light flashes then red 3 times

KODAK Easyhare digital camera light status
1. Blinking green light(or blinking blue or white light in some models) - Means camera is performing a power up procedure. Note: Wait a few moments to see if the camera displays a solid green (or blue or white) light or a blinking red light.
2. Solid green light(or blinking blue or white light in some models) - Means Camera has sufficient power
3. Blinking red light - Means camera batteries are weak or need replacement; If battery are new and still red light camera needed to be repaired

The light does not turn completely off, it turns on then only half way off.

Please check your wiring inside the connection box.... this sounds like a hot ground to me.

White should be connected to all the whites. Green or bare copper should be connected to all the green or bare and the frame of the fan. Black should connect to a black and/or red and/or blue wire. You may have some hot leg wire barely touching a ground too. If that is the case, it is not popping the breaker because there are loose grounds involved somewhere.

Look at it carefully. Proceed wsith caution. Good luck and let me know whaat happens.
