How old is your furnace? Does it have a circuit board that controls everything, or are there separate controls for each function?

How do you replace a pressure switch on a coleman evcon furnace

The pressure switch is mounted with 1/4" or 5/16" self tapping screws and has 2 wires and a rubber tube that attaches to the induced drafts assembly.

same thing happened to mine. go on the roof and pull the cap off. mine was rusted thru the inner pipe (exhaust side) letting the exhaust air to get drawn back into the combustion air side. causing it to short cycle or snuff the flame out.

Draft blower stays on all the time on my Colman Evcon that is in my mobile home. What could I check for, any sensors? Furnace runs fine otherwise.

there is a temperature sensor in the fire box that keeps the blower going til it cools down after the burner shuts off, could be faulty and keeping the fan on

My furnace lights but only stays lit couple sec can hear a click then goes out

Sounds like it is not proving flame, to check you need a meter that will read DC microamps. without knowing the brand I can't say what you should be looking for. Trane furnaces need at least 1 DC microamp to prove presence of flame. Usually you will see 2 - 2.6 or so, but it depends on what the manufacturer specs to prove flame. At minimum you can pull the burners out and clean them really good (especially the cross-over wings) because if the flame doesn't roll down to the sensor fast enough during the trial for ignition it will recycle and eventually lockout. If it stays lit longer than 20 sec, it most likely is proving flame and cycling off on high limit because the blower is not coming on. The typical blower on delay is 45 sec from the time flame is proved to when the blower is energized

Furnace does not work

Is there a booster motor for the burner? I have seen these stick and make a furnace not turn on. The thermostat trips and you hear the furnace click on but nothing else happens. The booster is a small electric motor connected to a small duct. Take the booster motor loose and turn the fan by hand. Usually they will start working after you do this. Make sure furnace is shut off when you do this. Some booster motors have ports to oil them also.

Coleman presidential II furnace blower on and off

Sounds like the flame sensor. But it could be the thermostat. Is the furnace standing pilot or electronic spark or hot surface ignition. I would start by checking thermostat. Turn power off to furnace take thermostat off wall and take wires marked r & w and connect them together. Turn power back on if furnace works then change out thermostat. Most eclectronic ignition Furnaces have a flam sensor, You could take flame sensor out and clean it up with steel wool or wire brush. If you need anymore help just reply back .

Heater blower motor cycles on and off (frequently). I have a class 2 LR95329 Honeywell Thermostat

The clicking noise is a relay or switch of some sort. You are right about that. I have 2 questions. 1) does the thermostat have a mercury bulb in it? 2) when the fan shuts off and on, does the burner stay on?
