Compressed or pinched usually means power supply is not producing full voltages. Not worth fixing.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Only 2/3 of screen working

sounds like the lcd monitor is going bad. To make sure though, hook up another monitor to your computer and if the monitor shows a full picture then that means the original monitor is bad.

If your replacement monitor shows a 2/3 screen, then you know its a problem with your video card.

Monitor is showing bottob half display and upper half is blackout

Hate to say it, but time for a new monitor... will cost you WAY more to fix than to pop-by a garage sale and grab a new monitor.

(It's not even worth a repair-persons time to do it...)
