Is it a Virus? Motorola RAZR V3

I received a text from a friend and when I tried to open it I got a Sim Card error message. After that the keyboard totally frozen. I have rebooted the V3 and when I press any key it starts voice recording with continues beep. none of the keys respond so I can not make a call or do anything else but I can still receive calls. Please help me to activate the keyboard again and to get rid of the virus if it is a virus. Thanks. Kad1

Unlock razr v3

Which Country Network Lock now?
You can get the Unlock code and Unlock Instructions at
moz-screenshot-7.pnghttp://www.theunlockspot.com/motorola-razr-v3/rs10wp9/
follow the Instructions and Unlock it step by step:
Motorola RAZR V3 Unlocking Instructions Warning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Motorola RAZR V3 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Motorola RAZR V3 mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.
1 - Switch ON your Motorola RAZR V3 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card,
2 - Phone will display "Enter Special Code",
3 - You can now enter the Unlock Code.

NOT ACCEPTED: We mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Motorola RAZR V3 is locked to.

WARNING: If one of theses messages appear :

- "Contact Service Provider"
- "Tampert Alter"
- "Wait before enter special Code"
- "Contact Service'

It's because you or somebody already entered too many wrong codes, you just have to leave the Motorola RAZR V3 ON with the errors message and after 40 minutes to 2 hours the message "Enter Code Special" will appear again!

Have motorola razr V3, how do I transfer text messages to sim rea

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If you have Motorola phone tools installed in your system, then you can directly copy the messages from the phone to your Computer. And, if you are unable to see the messages through the SIM card reader then the messages would be in the phone and not SIM.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Getting rid of phone #'s and text on motorola razor v3

All of your texts and numbers should all be on the SIM card itself and not the phone.

So you can give the phone itself to a friend but keep the sim.
Hope this helped.

Outbound Text Message

It's a operator message. Your SIM card need to send a message to the operator to inform something about your phone (like you are using a new phone) but the receiver don't recognize for what the message is. Your sim card will keep sending the message until it receives a valid response.
Try to change the SIM card and see what happens. If the problem appears only with one card, you may ask your carrier company to change it.

Text Messages ort Calls will not open

I would definitely reset the phone, unless you can find a way to clear the text messages out before it crashes to the Main Menu. My guess is that you have a corrupted text message in your inbox, and it is crashing the software.

Resetting the phone will wipe out all of the data on it, so make sure you back it up first. If you have the Motorola Phone Tools, you may also want to try accessing the text messages or updating the phone software through it first.
