Contact the dealer for details. In most cases, the warranty will be valued upto 6 months from the date of purchase.

The pictures on my tv keep fading out its a Sanyo 50 inch I only had it for a year n wanted to know it has a warnty on it

Most TVs have a 1 year warranty. You will need to check the exact purchase date if you are near the one-year date. If you are still covered by that one year warranty contact Sanyo promptly. The number to call is 1-800-877-5032; you will need to have the model number and serial number for your TV to get warranty service.

The one year warranty exists on the FVM5082 and the DP50747.

I hope this helps.

There is a 1/8" blue-green line running from top to bottom of the screen. It's about 6-7 inches from the left edge of the screen. Any suggestions on what could be causing this? It seems to be permanent.

There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If the TV is under warranty—whether the original warranty from the manufacture or an extended warranty purchased with the TV—call the company providing the warranty coverage and they will arrange to have your TV repaired at little, or no cost to you.

Since some brands will pay for your repair even if you're out of warranty, especially if they've heard of your problem before and it's a known issue, you should always contact the manufacture first for your full range of options. If they're willing to fix the TV for free, or at a reduced cost to you, let them!

If the TV is out of warranty, and you have the experience and you know what you're doing, you can fix the TV yourself. Purchase the service manual from the manufacture to get started. However, if you've never done anything like this type of repair before and you don't know where to start, I suggest speaking with an experienced TV repair-person.

If you decide to pay for out of warranty repair by a professional repair shop, the total cost will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor. However, be warned that the cost could be considerably higher.

I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here. Please be sure to vote on my response. I hope I've earned a good rating from you today!

I have a VIZIO VX 32L and will not come on i checked the power suplay is ok so what could be the problem

No one can tell you exactly which part is bad without looking at the TV. Like a car, a person can only guess without taking a look at the set. But there is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If the TV is under warranty—whether the original warranty from the manufacture or an extended warranty purchased with the TV—call the company providing the warranty coverage and they will arrange to have your TV repaired at little, or no cost to you.

1 Answer

2 year warranty

the Majority of problems on this and all other LCD TV's are capacitor problems the power pack needs smooth power to work correctly however the warranty should be valid and you need the proof that you bought it and you need to know who to contact about the 2 year warranty it may be Emerson you need to speak with not Walmart. I would contact them next(Emerson), or whom ever the third party repair service is that will cover the Warranty.
hope this helps
