Should be a small screw, hex or wingnut that attaches pull rod to rest of pop up assembly, just re-attach rods and tighten screw firmly.

SOURCE: tub drain would not work

kohler hooks on to kinda of a coiled spring that you just unscrew, after you take the two screws out of the trip lever keep turning it to the left until it pulls right out.the stopper for the water slides into that spring at the height to make it go up and down with the trip lever,Ive done lots of them but its hard to explain. if not can you get at it in the basement?

Inside door handle will not release latch to open door. Must roll down window and unlatch from outside.

undo the door card after removing any parts that may need to be removed in order to release it. Remove the door card paying attention to the rod that should be attached to the internal door handle.. If there is no rod, it has become detached. You will have to check, in this case , why it has become detached. It may be that the end has deformed or that it has snapped, or something it should be attached to is snapped.
The mechanism may be jammed, in which case disassemly, correction, lubrication and reassembly may be necessary.
It should, hopefully, be a straightforward repair

Whirlpool stopper

If there is a small loop on the bottom of the stopper, the popup lever is supposed to poke through that. All you need to do is look at the drain tailpiece for the lever sticking out the back, undo the retaining nut to allow the lever to be removed from the drain, drop the stopper down so the loop can be engaged by the actuator rod you just pulled out, retighten the nut, then make the final adjustments for open height with the small metal tab holds the lever to the piece of metal with holes in it that is attached to the drain poppet in the middle of the faucet assembly above It should close completely and then open to drain.

Hi I recently bought a CA84667CBN bathroom faucet but lost the manual. How do I connect the water stopper?

These pictures are not very good and there are videos because it's kind of hard to explain but, I'll try. The drain stop rod that goes through the fixture and would hang in your vanity should have a piece that bolts to it with holes in it. you need to pick the hole to go over the shaft taht sticks out of the drain pipe, That controls the stopper, taht will close the stopper when pulled up and, will open stopper enough to let water drain. You use the "v" shaped piece with the 2 holes in it to attach the two together. You have to position the v piece over both sides of the plunger piece and then squeeze and put the whole thing over the shaft of the pluger actuator. If you type, "how to install a faucett" in your search window, you can pick a video on how to install a "bathroom faucett" that will give you pictures. It's really hard to try to explain.

The cable system on the pop up assembly is not working. lifting up or pushing down on the stem does not engage the plunger(in the sink drain).

One of two things can be wrong. The first is the drain plug itself has become disengaged with the plunger inside the drain line. You can check this by pulling up on the drain stopper itself, if it comes all the way out then all you need to do is to reinsert it and give it a little twist to get it reseated on the plunger hook. The other may be the drain handle on the top of the faucet may be disconnected from the rod. Open up the doors underneath the sink and inspect it. The rod should go down and the plunger handle should connect to the rod via a bent metal clip. Ensure it is in the correct position to activate the handle in the drain pipe when the top is pulled up.

Hi I have a KOHLER Fairfax Chrome Double-Handle WaterSense® Bathroom Faucet and the drain stopper keeps popping out. My husband and I have tried numerous times to fix it and can't. I also cannot...

Un screw the nut on the drain tail piece that attaches the rod to drain pipe .Pull the rod out just slightly.Hold the drain plug in the hole with the notch sitting side ways.Push the rod back in angled so that the tip inside drain is angled up.You should feel it go through the notch on the drain plug .If it has you should not be able to pull it out.Tighten the nut hand tight and work the plunger it should be attached .If not loosen the nut again pull back on the rod and shift it around until you feel it go through the notched hole on the plug bottom

Kohler bathtub drain seems to be disconnected from control lever. This is the type with the "in bathtub stopper" that raises up and down to let water flow out. The stopper does not move up and down as it...

Okay, remove 2 phillips head screws at lever handle/overflow.

Pull firmly with much effort and bowing the connecting rod a bit.

Up will come a heavy duty spring on the end of the rod.(prolly a big slimly hair ball too!)

Hope you get the spring, cause that's what works the drain stop.

If spring doesn't come out you'll have to "fish" it out.

Clean everything up real good and flush drain good also now.

The "Secret" now is to put the Lever, rod and spring assembly back in and replace screws and get the lever flipped to the left BEFORE you put the Drain Stop in.

Jacuzzi rotary drain

I don't understand the bend down rhing. The drain stopper, as you call it, has a rod that goes through the end of it to enable opening and closing with the vertical control. If I'm on the same page, under the sink on the backsie there is nut that holds the stopper control.. It has a nut you need to remove and line up the short end with the stopper slot, then put the nut back on to secure the ball. Don't overtighten. Now the log end of that same rod is secured with a spring clip to the un and down control rod . It can be adjusted by moving the spring clip up or down on the control rod. noyhing isbroken, just pulled apart or out of adjustment.

Bathroom sink stopper came unhooked and out, not attached anymore

You will need to get under there and unscrew the popup rod located on the back of the drain. pull out the rod, drop the stopper in there and push the rod through the hole in the bottom of the stopper. screw the nut back on.

I installed a new sink and pop up drain assembly. But the drain drains very slow because the stopper does not go high enough. I have tried adjusting the pop up assembly.

make sure that the piece going in to the drain that moves your stopper up and down is all the way in the hole on the bottom of the stopper once that is in hold the rod down so your stop is up then attach it to the piece attached to your rod this should solve your problem good luck

Drain pop-up funnction not working

The stopper portion of the drain should have an adjustable threaded leg with a small nut to secure the setting after you have adjusted its lenght to open and close the drain. Make sure you adjust the lenght to the highest setting for better drainage. The linkage must be connected and tight between the vertical lift rod and the horizontal rod that enters the drain to make the stopper move up and down.
