Problem for Nikon Coolpix S3 Digital Camera

on startup the screen is completly white. On pressing the click button the red light flashes although i did kept in charge.I removed the batteries and after 30 mins reinserted, but to no use.I cant use my camera. I bought it in april 2006 from Dubai and I live in india.
