Why does my kinivo bth220 headphones have a flashing red light on them no matter how long i charge them and they will not turn on

The batteries won't charge. You might want to google around for replacement batteries.

First I'd try a factory reset. PRess the +, - and multifunction button for 6 seconds until the blue light flashes and it shuts off. When you turn them on next, it's in pairing mode and try again.

Can you confirm if you are able to put the BTH220 headphones in pairing mode. Please try the following steps and see if works:
  1. Make sure that the headphones are fully charged.
  2. Switch off the headphones.
  3. Put the headphones in pairing mode by pressing the MFB button (center) for 7-10 secs till you see the red and blue LED blinking alternatively. Please do not leave the button as soon as blue LED appears.
  4. Follow the operating instruction of your Bluetooth device to start the pairing process.

I have Aspire 4730Z acer laptop. but can't install blue tooth. when going to install driver from utility CD showing no device found. let me clear how can I resolve the problem

Method 1: Rename the Bth.inf file loadTOCNode(2, 'workaround'); Rename the %WINDIR%\inf\Bth.inf file to Bth.bak before you install or reinstall the third-party device or stack. When you rename the file, you prevent Windows Plug and Play PNP from using that INF file to install the Bluetooth driver that is included with Windows XP SP2. To rename the file, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type %windir%\inf in the Open box, and then click OK.
  2. Right-click Bth.inf, and then click Rename.
  3. Rename Bth.inf to Bth.bak, and then press ENTER.
  4. Install the third-party Bluetooth driver.

Method 2: Update the Bluetooth driver in Device Manager loadTOCNode(2, 'workaround'); To replace the Windows XP SP2 installation of the Bluetooth stack, update the driver in Device Manager. When you do this, specify your third-party driver. To update the driver in Device Manager, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type devmgmt.msc in the Open box, and then click OK.
  2. Locate the device.
  3. Right-click the device, and then click Update Driver.
  4. Follow the steps that appear on the screen in the Hardware Update Wizard to specify your third-party driver for the Bluetooth device.

Kinivo BTH220 Charging Issue I have recently purchased the Kinivo BTH220 bluetooth headphones, they were seemingly shipped fully charged and worked beautifully while charged. I read the user manual before I even touched the headphones and followed the recommendation to fully use the battery. After doing so I tried to charge the headphones. In the included user manual there is a section called "Charging the Battery:". It states that when the headphones are charging a red light will appear, and when finished it will turn off. I plugged them in, so far satisfied with the product, and only seconds later the red light shut off. I tried to turn them on and the alternating blue and red flashing lights began, I assume that means the battery is too low to turn on. Since that point I've been trying varied different sources to charge my headphones. Wall chargers, car chargers, the usb port on my laptop, but none have succeeded on turning on the red light for more than ten seconds. I used a different usb cord to see if it would resolve the issue, and so far I can only manage to get it to charge for moments. I've tried plugging it in partially and such, but that hasn't worked either. Is there something in the user manual I have missed? Is it an issue in manufacturing? I did buy it over Amazon but the provider had great reviews and the product came unopened with no signs that it had ever been, even came in a vacuum sealed thin plastic covering. Is this a common issue, or are there no known solutions?
