Question about Samsung SCH-i730 Pocket PC
When I turn on my phone, as soon as I turn on my phone, it freaks out! A bunch of vertical lines appear kind of like a bar code looking thing. If you know what I'm talking about then great because I don't know any other way to explain it. Then after a couple seconds it freezes... If there is a low cost or preferably free way to fix this problem please tell me how. My situation is the phone was bought from eBay, not directly from verizon. I have a monthly plan and insurance on my phone that I have right now (not my samsung phone I just bought) where I pay about 50 dollars to replace it with a bran new one. The problem, I don't think it applies for phone not bought directly from verizon. If you can help me then email me at [email protected] Thanks!
I believe that the insurance is covered on any phone that is on your phone line. That is how it is set up to work. The only issue you may have with this is they are going to want to know place of and date of original purchase. I have been told several different things about this and am a little unclear on the covreage as well but I am inclined to say that your phone has been damaged in some way. If the original phone was purchased through verizon you should still be able to use the insurance. From what I understand is part of your contract and at the begining of your contract if you signed up and have not canceled it and you have been using your phone on that phone line and are now having problems it should be insured. I am not 100% positive on this and it seams like there is never a defienate policy as it always is subject to change however that would be the best place to at least start.
