I would check your belt. From what you've told me, your electric pump is working and receiving power from your lid-switch, but your motor and transmission is not turning/agitating.

Meaning, your belt is most likely, NOT engaging or grabbing your pulleys to rotate the motor/tranny. Belts will ware and tare, just like your vehicle fan belts. Change it! You should be good!

If not your belt, your lid switch may be the culpret. However, from what you've described; very unlikely because your water pump is turning on and receiving power from the "lid-switch". The switch becomes defective after constant use and slamming/dropping of the door. The purpose of the lid-switch is to prevent accessing your clothes when in spin-cycle (dangerous)

My GE Profile top load washer won't hold water

Your drain line is too low or has a blocked air gap. Take the drain line out of the drain. Hold it up high and turn the washer on to fill. If it fills and begins agitation, repair the drain line problem.

GE profile washing machine won't agitate it spins out, drains,

Pull the agitator out and check the drive collar splines. If you have the model I think you have just pull straight up on the agitator. Once removed you will see the drive collar with a 7/16 head bolt, remove it and pull off the collar.First before pulling it off spin it if splines are stripped it will spin freely.
