Losing left or right channel

When in 2 channel mode, I sometimes lose the left or right channel. It's quickly fixed with a hard tap on the case. I assume I have a short of some kind. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Behringer mixer Eurorack UB802 is losing partial stereo signal in one channel. When I record (audacity software) I can hear both channels but displays one channel. Is it my computer's audio jack t

Sounds like the output cable from the 802 is not correctly pinned to your input on the computer. Fred is on the right track but you may need to take it a bit further.
It may also be helpful to use a Pro USB audio interface such as the Digigram UAX220v2 (line level version).
If you wish to use the computer's on board sound card consider an IHF/Pro interface that converts balanced audio to unbalanced , and the proper cables. Two 3-wire balanced 1/4-inch from the 802 to the left and right inputs of the interface (XLR Male), then RCA (Red and White) to a 1/8-inch TRS Plug cable onto the the computers audio input.
Henry Engineering's Matchbox HD comes to mind.
Good Luck.

There is a chance that a common control may have developed a high-resistance or 'dead' spot and is causing your symptom. Turn the POWER OFF and operate every control throughout its range a number of times, especially rarely-used ones like Tape Monitors and the Mute control.

If it still doesn't work you might want to prove if its a low-level signal loss or a high level amp failure.

One way would be to run an RCA cable pair from the Tape Out to any other device (even a TV with speakers) you might have that accepts an audio input. If IT can't detect receive the DEAD Channel you're losing it in the preamplifying or source selection stages.

If it CAN be played externally, the receiver is losing it on its way to or at the amplification stage. Further isolation would require hands-on technical expertise.

It keeps losing the signal for my macbook pro and nintendo dsi. Right after losing signal it waits a second or two and then gets signal again.

hey,

There are a number of reasons for this.

1. try to move your router to the center of the room. If it is placed in a corner this could happen.
2. If there are multiple routers at home, then this could happen.
3. Try to login to the router page and try to change the signal strengths and channels.
4. This could also happen due to the type of encryption you have chosen. try to disable wireless encryption and if the disconnect does not happen, then try different combination of encryption until you get the desired result.

Cheers!!!

Usb 2wireless adapter keep losing sigal

If your computer keeps losing the signal, you need to either change the wireless channel or boost your wireless power on your router. Sometimes even a combination of both is needed so you stop losing signal.

Loss of channels

If you mean "losing" as in you could no longer tune to those channels because they disappeared out of the channel list entirely, then it's likely a software problem.  If you haven't already, try resetting your DVR to factory settings (since this unit is TiVo powered, it should be under the main menu, Messages and Settings, then Restart or Reset system; follow the on-screen instructions to reset the system).

If you mean "losing" as in you can tune to the channel but there's no signal, then that sounds like a tuner problem to me.  If the box is still under warranty or you lease it, have it repaired or replaced.  If you bought the box and the warranty is up, it looks like you might have to get a new one, or pay for the repair out of pocket.

You might also try calling back to DirecTV tech support and asking to be escalated or to speak with a supervisor; especially if it's a box you're leasing from them, since it is definitely *their* problem in that case.
