The F/06 error according to the official repair manual is a Motor Tachometer error . . the error is triggered because the main control board loses communication with the tachometer either a short in the wiring or a short in one of several other places. . The tachometer sits on the spindle of the motor and has two wires from the spindle to a wiring hub on the left side of the motor . . . two of the black wires are for the tach then feed to the MCU (Motor Control Unit) in the bottom left facing the washer which then feeds the info into the main control board which is at the top on the machine under the top cover. Some find that checking the connections with a volt meter is a starting point however in most cases you will not find issues with electrical continuity, the manual has the expected readings. The MCU is known to go bad in these machines so that would be the first suspect in resolving the error, however it could be the wiring, the motor or the main control board. The MCU costs around $200 so consider the possibility that it may not solve your issue. The error may even be sporadic only happening on heavier loads in the tub.

CHECK DRAIN HOSE coming from washer TO ENSURE WATER IS DRAINING PROPERLY down drain.
USUALLY YOU CAN RAISE DRAIN HOSE A LITTE AND RESET WASHER TO RINSE & SPIN F6 is caused by water not draining Fast Enough

with the machine empty see if you can lift up only the tub and see if it drops down.check to make sure there is nothing between the tub and outer tub have you gotten an f-51 error?

When the washer initially fills for the wash, is it only hot water entering the drum? Try switching the water temperature between hot and cold as it fills. If any of them show little or no water getting through, it sounds too easy but check to make sure water supply taps are on, and that the cold/hot fill hoses aren't reversed. Remove the fill hoses and check any of the screen filters for blockage (in the hoses and in the inlet water valve). When the machine stops and waits to fill but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like there is power going to the valve but water is not able to get through it.

Take off the bottom panel (unplug unit first!) and unscrew the cap on the drain cylinder, be sure to have plenty of towels to soak up the water! pull out the center piece and check out all the treasures stored inside. Be sure to use a flashlight and lift up the black hose behind it to get any leftovers in the hose. I just did it today and could not believe how much stuff was in there...coins. pens, buttons, lost of wet lint had it clogged. The clothes finally don't smell!
