The safety switches are designed to work by interrupting the connection in the switch when you get off the tractor.. Sometimes the switch sticks or defective..try removing the wires from the switch and temperarly connect them together..start it if it runs then take the wires apart..the engine should shut down as intended if the switch was working ..now put the wires back on thebswitch and try to start if it does you need to replace the switch...good luck..
There should be a Micro switch that is plugged out or broken, you will find this switch on the arm if it dont connect or make contact the machine will not work. There will be 2 wires on the switch will be small becareful can break easy.
You need to either re-time the speed control switch at the back or replace it. If it worked great before then it is just an adjustment to get it back to running correctly. YouTube viseo available for timing the switch
The governor should move back and forth as the speed control goes from speeds 1 through 10. It's purpose is to push on the control plate in order to obtain the different motor speeds.
its supposed to stop when you open the door,, close the door and try starting it up again, if it doesn't, its going to be one of 2 things,, the thermal fuse blew, they are located in the back of the machine or the door safety switch went out, you can check that by by passing it,, just jumper the 2 wires to it together and hit start , if you have no power at all to the machine, I'd check the thermal fuse first
Check the carbon brushes, look inside the hole, it is keyed, the brushes only go in properly one way. Match the missing corner on the brush to the blocker inside the brush holder.
First, check that the switch is in the on position. Then, check that all parts are assembled properly. The unit has a built-in safety device that will not let the motor turn on if not assembled properly. The Power Juicer also has a built-in Thermal Cut Off Safety Switch. If the machine was running, then shut down due to accidental overheating, then there is a 10 minute cooling time before the machine will restart. This helps to protect the motor from seizing. Click on the link below and select your juicer model to view the instructions and operating manual
Very strong possibility that one of the safety switches has gone bad. I've found, on the last one I worked on, that the safety at the back of the bowl, where the guard hits, when in place, was bad. Drove me crazy trying to find it.
I went to the LIBRARY and checked out a book on Washing Machine Repairs. It had all types of makes and models of washers. The book listed problems that can occur and solutions with complete diagrams of all the parts how to take the machine apart and put the replacement part in and put the machine back together. This all in a book I checked out from the local LIBRARY FREE of CHARGE. I'm going to spread the word that you don't have to pay for information on anything, JUST GO TO THE LOCAL LIBRARY. What a wonderful service they offer to all citizens.
Mine did the same thing. I found the ball bearing inside the switch had fallen off. Put it back on and it works like new!
Pull the mixer case apart. Push in on the seam in the front and back and it will pop open after you remove the 1 screw. Pull the switch apart. There is a spring inside the top part of the switch and a small (1/8") ball bearing should be on top of the spring. Chances are, it has fallen off. Find it and stick it back on the spring while holding the top part of the switch upside down. Put the mixer back together.
