My Bose remote turns on and off withthe comcast remote but the volume does not work unless I hitthe AUX button first. Does not work with the all button pushed.

Since multiple devices have volume controls you must inform the remote which device's volume you are changing. Just like the Power button. You wouldn't want everything in the room reacting to a generic command.

My Sony CDX-L350 CD Player's volume buttons dont react no matter how hard i press them, and i cant adjust the volume

Hi Kenny,

There is a manual reset that is used as a catch all remedy to handle symptoms of an unspecified origin.

It's located on the front of the unit, behind the front panel, directly behind the "ATT" button. Get a paper clip and press it.

Best regards

The volume of tv keeps going down by itself and when I close t.v it dosent open at all anymore....the light on the right bottom of tv is purple instead of blue or red

Sound like you have a bad volume button. I don't know the brand or model but if you can unplug the button board with out disconnecting the remote reciver. Do that and use the remote. If set is ok then replace button board or switches.

My multimedia touchpad on my acer aspire 8930G isnt working anymore... the volume leds and the mute led lights up, cant do anything with it anymore. Won't even react on adjustments made in Volume Control...

Well, I had the same problem too, so I called the acer support and solve it in a sec.
You just need to close your pc, take the battery off for a few seconds, and put it back in again.
Just as simple as that....
Good Luck!!!

Mp3 player

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

FROZEN!!

First, try resetting the GoGear. Make sure the GoGear is on, if possible. Use a small paperclip or other device and press it into the reset hole. If the reset doesn't work, then:
Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new.
