Question about Ricoh Aficio 450 Copier
This code is for a TD (toner density) sensor error. It could be as simple as cleaning the TD sensor which is located in the area to the right of the drum. If you remove the drum unit, it will be in the area about 2/3 of the way toward the rear of the machine and is accessable through the right hand door that you open to remove jams and remove the drum unit. Just wipe you finger across the inboard surface of the sensor and if your finger comes back with a lot of toner on it, you've probably fixed the problem. If that doesn't fix it, you're going to have to throw yourself on the mercy of your friendly local technician as it's something that only he/she can fix. Let me know if that helps. Aloha. Bill Monroe
