I pressed the CTRL key at the same time I pressed the plus sign, it made it too big so I reversed it and it is much better now.

If you mean you want larger print on your browser get Opera it has a nice slide control at the bottom to resize the fonts and the photos too. In windows control panel/display set custom text size (DPI) you can resize all type size.

If you are using something like a BROWSER (IE, Chrome, etc) on the keyboard hold down CTRL and press ONCE the + button. Does this repeatedly until the font size is larger.

Please note this will NOT increase font on GRAPHIC text as those are set graphics and do not zoom.

For windows computers go to CONTROL PANEL and select APPEARANCE AND PERSONALIZATION

From there under DISPLAY select "Make Text and Other Items Larger or Smaller" Play with the settings within there until you get the font large enough for you to see.

Making my printer print bigger letters

Only in the software that you are telling it to print, like in Word or Excel. Make the font bigger.

If it is a magazine article or something, go into Printer Properties before you print an look for something that says Scaling, or Full Page Print, or Fit to Paper. Each printer is different.

Another trick is to copy and paste into Word and then you have control of font size.

My printer's font is too small for me. I need to enlarge it. How?

Hello

The font on the paper depends entirely on the source, if you are printing from a email, the font may be small on that message.

I'd suggest that you take the text that you want to print, copy it, then open a text editor or word, word pad or similar.

Paste the text there, and then select it all, change the font size to a bigger value, then print it out and see what it looks like.

As far as I know there is no font setting in any printer, it entirely depends on the source. if the source is small the printout will be small.

When I print something, for example...I needed a recipe copied

Check the menu if there is any setting for percentage check if it is set to 100% or in the software of the printer check also those settings, if it´s set for 5% or so the images will be printed very small.

Hope it help

Print on screen too small

It depends a lot on your operating system.

In brief, decrease the resolution on your monitor (go from 1024x768 to 800x600 for example) which will make everything bigger (this is under control panel -> display options in XP) or go to Accessibility options (or ease of use options in Vista) to set font sizes larger (just make text bigger, not everything else).

Hope it helps.

If you need further help, please tell us what your operating system is...

There is a copy setting within HP solution center where you can change the copy size. Set it to "Actual Size" or increase the percentage to get bigger prints.
