I found this Info on Matias products website:

System Requirements:
- Wireless model requires computers equipped with Bluetooth wireless thechnology and Mac OS X 10.2 or later

For the Wireless model, I understand that it work for Apple products.

Testimonial: "Thank you for your input. The keyboard also works with Windows systems. The answer was to push the pairing button. I thought all I had to do was turn it on, wrong. Push the pairing button and the pc or tablet or smartphone will give you a code to enter via the keyboard to pair."

How do I connect the USB Bluetooth Adapter to my laptop

Once you plug in the adapter, open a bluetooth device and have it find the adapter. Once the device is paired, I suspect you'll find it in your computer devices, if a window doesn't open informing you of the new device.

Usb dongle is not working

Step 1:
A Bluetooth dongle is an external Bluetooth device used to enable your PC's Bluetooth connection. Many Bluetooth dongles come without installation disks since the software is pre-programmed into the actual USB stick. These Bluetooth dongles are very useful on netbooks that don't have Bluetooth connection, since netbooks have no CD-Rom drives. Turn on your PC. Insert the USB Bluetooth dongle into the USB port on your desktop tower, or the USB ports located on the perimeter of your laptop. Wait for the program to auto run. Once you connect your dongle, the driver program should launch. Follow the onscreen prompts to install the dongle. A dialogue box should open that says "Installing Drivers" from the taskbar. Allow the driver to install completely before closing the box. Unplug the dongle and restart your PC. Once the PC has been switched on, insert the dongle. Double-click "My Bluetooth Places." This is the Bluetooth icon located in your taskbar, and it should launch the "Initial Bluetooth Configuration Wizard." Click "Next" on the first screen. Next, type in the name of your computer and select your computer type from the drop-down menu, then click "Next." Click "Skip" on the onscreen prompts, then finish. Pairing the Devices Turn on your external Bluetooth device. Double-click "My Bluetooth Places." Select "Find Bluetooth Devices." The name your Bluetooth device should display in the next window. Right click the icon for your Bluetooth device, and scroll down to "Pair Device." Enter the Bluetooth pin code for your external device in the "Bluetooth Pin Code Request" pop-up window. Then click "OK." The default pin code is normally "0000" or "12345." You can find your pin code in your user manual. If you are pairing a cell phone to your PC, you will have to enter the same pin code on your cell phone to establish the Bluetooth connection.

Bluetooth perephal device problem on dell inspirion

If you want to connect a Bluetooth peripheral device to a computer, you may need to download a new driver to support it.

There are two approaches to this:

If your Bluetooth device came with a driver on a disc, you can install the driver directly from the disc.

Otherwise, simply connect your computer to the Internet and connect your Bluetooth device to your computer, then wait for Windows to install any required drivers automatically.

You may receive this message when you connect your Bluetooth device to your computer: "Windows needs to install driver software for your Bluetooth peripheral device."

Bluetooth peripheral device driver downloads are easy to locate via any search engine.

Open the CD-ROM drive on the computer and insert the driver disc that shipped with the Bluetooth device.

Wait for a moment to see if the software auto-launches, as most modern software discs do.

If the program does not launch automatically, double-click the "My Computer" icon and then double-click the "CD-ROM drive" icon.

If this does not launch the software but instead opens a file folder, look for a .exe file such as "setup.exe" or "run.exe" and double-click that.

You're looking for a Bluetooth peripheral device driver.

Follow the on-screen prompts, once the software launches, to install the Bluetooth peripheral device drivers on the disc. You may be prompted to restart your computer at the end of the process.

Letting Windows Install the Driver

Make sure Windows is up to date, as most Bluetooth drivers are included in Windows Service Pack updates.

To do this, make sure your computer is connected to the Internet, then click the "Start" button in Windows and select "Windows Update" from the program list.

This will launch an Internet Explorer window. Click the "Find Updates" button in the window and wait for Microsoft to search for available updates.

If it recommends any high priority updates, follow the on-screen prompts to install them.

Connect the Bluetooth device to the computer.

There are three ways to do this.

If you have an internal Bluetooth receiver in your computer, just make sure the receiver and your Bluetooth device are turned on and put your device within range of the computer.

If you have a USB Bluetooth receiver, plug it into an available USB port on the computer; then turn on the Bluetooth device and put it within range of the computer.

If you have another type of auxiliary cable, you may also be able to use it to connect your Bluetooth device to the computer without using a Bluetooth connection.

Watch the system tray in the bottom right corner of Windows.

You should see a notification that Windows has detected a Bluetooth device, followed by another notification that the device has been installed properly.

The installation it is referring to is that of the driver. If this does not work as expected, proceed to the next step.

Click the "Start" button in Windows, then click "Control Panel." Launch "Device Manager."

Expand the "Bluetooth Devices" entry in the Device Manager by clicking the plus sign next to it.

Find your Bluetooth device listed under this heading, right-click it and select "Update driver" from the list of options.

Wait as Windows automatically finds and configures any missing Bluetooth peripheral device driver downloads.

Hope this helps

How to enable bluetooth on my hp pavilion dv7

link to driver if not installed alredy

if driver installed :

Check that your PC has a built-in Bluetooth device by consulting its user guide. If it does not, you'll need to buy an external receiver often referred to as a "dongle" and connect it to a spare USB port.

Ensure that your wireless and Bluetooth receiver is turned on. Touch the antenna symbol next to your PC's volume control. It will turn blue when it's on and amber when it's off.

Go to the "Control Panel" from the start menu and select "HP Wireless Assistant" if you're using XP. You'll need to go via "Network and Internet" if you're running Vista or Windows 7.

Make sure your Bluetooth adapter is enabled. If you get a warning that it's not, click on "Windows Device Manager," right-click on your Bluetooth device and select "Enable."

Go back to the "HP Wireless Assistant" window and press the "Turn on" button next to the Bluetooth icon if it's not already showing as being activated. Your Bluetooth device is now on and you're ready to connect to another enabled unit.

I can't download the pictures off my pantech cell phone

Hi,

You can connect your Pantech Link to your Windows 7 computer using the phone's built-in Bluetooth adapter. If your computer doesn't have a Bluetooth adapter bulit-in, you can connect the phone via a USB port. Once you connect your Link to your computer, you can use the phone as a modem, or transfer files back and forth between the phone and the computer.

Press the "Menu" key on the Pantech Link and select "Settings."

Open "Connectivity" and choose "Bluetooth," then "Activation." Set the option to "On" and press "Select."

Click "Back" and open "Visibility." Click "Show" and press "Select."

Click "Start" on the PC task bar, then click "Devices and Printers."

Right-click on your Bluetooth adapter and left-click "Bluetooth Settings." Check the box labeled "Allow Bluetooth Devices to Find This Computer" and click the "OK" button.

Click "Add a device" at the top of the screen. A new window pop ups, showing the nearby Bluetooth devices.

Highlight the Pantech Link and click "Next." A random number appears on the next screen.

Wait for the Pantech Link to prompt you for the number, then type the number into the phone and press "Select" to finish the pairing process.

Right-click on the Bluetooth adapter on the computer and left-click "Bluetooth Settings." Uncheck the "Allow Bluetooth Devices to Find This Computer" box and press the "OK" button. This prevents the computer from showing on other Bluetooth devices.

Regards.

How to activate Dell vostro bluetooth

1) Install the bluetooth driver provided for your system. It will ask you to activate bluetooth by pressing fn+f2 key (this won’t work).
2) You manually have to install the software for the driver.
Note: some of you may have already installed the drivers but just cannot start the connection. So there is a problem in the software and not the driver.
For installation of the software follow these steps.
3) Go to your driver installation directory (ex. C:\dell\drivers) then you find which driver you installed for your bluetooth.
4) Then you find your system you are running (a 32 bit or a 64 bit) it will written as win32 or win64.
5) Then you find the installation file. Then install the application and it will be all ready once again.
P.s. don’t forget to turn your Bluetooth adapter on after you install the software.

HK-760 Bluetooth dongle, pairs with my HP computer but after inserting the passkey, the computer starts searching for the peripheral device drivers without which a connection between my jabra VBT2050...

This device, according to the Jabra website, is intended only for phones, not PC's. The PC is searching for a driver in order to know how to communicate with the device. Since the VBT2050 does not have the necessary software contained within itself, the PC starts searching for device drivers. There are none that I could find on the Jabra website, so I don't think it is intended to be used with a PC.
