SOURCE: Washing machine won't do final spin.

Remove the front lower panel. Right in front you will see the pump filter. Get some towels and a bucket and unscrew the filter cap and pull the filter out. See if you have a bunch of lint and stuff in there. If you do, clear it out, refit carefully and give the washer another try. The companies dont tell you how to do it, for their techs then won't make any money. A tech to clean your filter!!!?? $$$

You're free to rate me............not that i get anything. Happy laundry!!

well it is looking like you have a water controle solinoid valve that is malfunctioning and needs to be replaces i would contact your nearest dealer to see what the part is going to cost and have it replaced and if you have a warranty with the machine see if you can use it .

SOURCE: My washer won't complete the final spin cycle. It

Hello, problem here is the spin control board is bad. Remove panel under the door and you can locate the spin control at the rear right of the machine screwed to the floor. Replace it and you will be all set. Mike

Hi there, my Miele W 1903 Novotronic is not draining nor spinning and the drain indicator light is flashing. I have cleaned the filter and the pump seems to be turning freely. Help, please!

Please ensure you have used the proper procedure on page 26 of the manual for cleaning the lint trap.

MANUAL - LINK

Unplug the unit for 20 minutes if turning the Dial back to Start/Finish does not reset the lamp.

Thanks!!

Will fill and drain but won't spin without assistance.

The safety switch could be broken or loose. This switch tells the machine that the lid is closed so that it only spins with it closed.

The 3 buttons

button selection : To select an option press the button and you will see a light come on above the button. Press again to cancel and the light will go out. You cannot alter the options once the machine is running. Note : remember to cancel buttons after use!

As you look at the machine
Left hand button... Rinse Hold.. use this option to Help reduce creasing of delicate or synthetic fabrics by holding clothes in the final rinse water. The rinse hold light will flash to indicate that the programme is holding final rinse water. Complete the final spin by pressing the Rinse Hold button when light is flashing.
This is not available with Wool or Spin only programmes.

Middle Button.... Energy Save... use this option to save money and time on lightly soiled loads. This is not available with the Quick Wash, Rinse and Spin, or Spin Only programmes.

Right Hand Button .... Super Rinse... use this option for Large Wash loads and items for young children or people with sensitive skin. This option increases the water level for the first two rinses. This is not available with Cold Wash, Rinse and Spin or Spin Only programmes.

Copied from my Hotpoint FEW12 user instruction sheet.
Hope it helps.
