Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I think there is a video on youtube if I remember. but I think it boils down to holding down the home button and whilst holding down the home button turn on the ipod and keep holding down the home button for about four seconds. This will put your ipod in recovery mode.
connect your ipod to the computer and itunes will see that your ipod is in recovery mode and will ask if you want to set up your ipod to factory settings. say yes and follow on screen instructions. you will lose any music you have got on the ipod. I cant remember exactly but as I say look on youtube for unlocking an ipod, that's how I did mine.
hope this helps

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
