You should be really need to prime it all. Check where the water reservoir is installed for blockages or dirt. There should be O-rings present, these may have become dislodged.

Machine not priming.

Is the water res sensor wire connected at the tank?? This provides a water in res signal which tells cpu to cycle (pump water) to boiler. Is the power light coming on?? Need more info. to carry on.

I have a Saeco Incanto RS Espresso Machine. The prime light is on, but the machine won't prime. Very little water of steam comes out of the wand.

You need to manually prime it using the priming bulb that came with it. Instructions are in the manual. Remove water tank. Fill priming bulb. Hold priming bulb on water inlet. They don't inter-connect, so just hold it on there as best you can. Turn the machine on, turn steam knob on, and gently, slowly squeeze the bulb to force water into the machine. It works best when the machine is cold, because you want to get liquid water in there, and not have it displaced by steam.

Prime it

1. Open the steam knob all the way.
2. Turn on the pump (coffee Button)
3. Turn on the power to the machine.

The machine will start to pump hot water out from the steam wand. When you get a steady flow, your machine has been primed.

No instruction on how to prime a saeco caffe charisma machine. looked in the book that came with it but there is no instructions for this process

Prime = letting some water out from the water/steam nozzle. Priming means that the machine has not water in the lines. By letting water come out, you are making sure that water fills all the components and is ready to use.
