Leaking water under the car when parked it just started last week.

Is the liquid clear or colored? If it is clear and you have been using the air conditioner, it is just condensation and not a problem. If the fluid is colored yellow/green or orange and feels slippery, it is coolant. This means you may have a loose hose fitting, a leaky hose, a bad radiator cap or a bad water pump. You'll need to look under and over the engine to see where the fluid is coming from. If you added fluid recently, you may have added too much and it may be coming from the overflow tank. That tank could have a leak or a loose hose going/coming from it. Good luck. Make sure you have plenty of antifreeze in the radiator and overflow tank at all times so you don't overheat the car. Check the levels while the car is cold.

Defrost does not work but the heat goes to the floor only

check the plastic vacuum lines that control it.... many find the problem is the soft dry rubber that connects the plastic tubes has rotted and leaked.
colors for the tubes are yellow, red, white, and green, but vary from car to car.
They connect behind the control and go under hood/pass side near the firewall.

Leaking oil from a plug on the top front of my engine

Spark plug can work it way out of the thread.
Inspect plug ceramic tip for damage.
Tighten plug and clean the valve cover.
The two sources of leaks are from valve cover gasket and leaky rubber under oil cap.

Check engine light on (Code P-2096)

P2096 is bank 1 lean code. This can be caused typically by a hole in a vacuum hose coming from the motor. Typically a hole will be found from heat and oil damage in a 90 degree bend of a hose running from the air intake to the PCV valve. You may have to remove that whole section (multiple bends usually) and do a very close visual inspection or feel around for a soft spongy area on the hoses. If it feels soft, there is very likely a hole at that point and it feels soft because the rubber thickness is thinner from melting. Other vacuum leak places to check includes the large rubber hose from the brake booster to the intake. If this is not the issue you could have a faulty fuel injector and typically using injector cleaner will not fix that problem.

Dash light came on, I have a 2002 f-250 7.3 diesel, light has arrows with 2 rows of dots, upper right hand part of dash light area

That light indicates that it is time to replace your air filter. After replacing the filter you will want to reset the lamp. On the air filter housing is a filter indicator. It is a small (2" round) cylinder with red, yellow and blue colors on it, as well as 2 wires. Push in the rubber yellow cap on top of the cylinder until you feel a snap and see the yellow plunger in the cylinder move. This should reset the light.
I hope this helps

Black stuff on & around fuel cap. What is it?

I guess it pretty much has to be exhaust. How is your exhaust system? Could it be leaking and rising up into the cap area? Is the pipe secure in the gas compartment? Does it look like rubber or plastic, or soot/ exhaust?
