Send a text message from page 20 in your manual: 1. In Idle mode, press [Left]. 2. Enter the message text and press [OK]. 3. Select an empty location. 4. Enter a destination number and press <OK>. 5. Press <Send> to send the message. View a text message from page 21 in your manual: 1. In Idle mode, press <Menu> and select Messages → Text messages → Inbox. 2. Select a text message. From page 5 in your manual: To access Menu mode, press <Menu> in Idle mode. Go to Menu--message--inbox--open up the message which u want to delete n then press the option button---u will see Erase/Delete as an option then click OK.Again press OK if asks for confirmation.That's how u empty your inbox.
If u want to delete all the inbox messages then for that also you have an option in the inbox.
Just don't forget to press the "Option" button if u have to see the function.
Ok, here is what you do to delete your messages in the inbox:
1. First you press your messages button where they are located 2. Now scroll down to where it says Inbox and make sure it is highlighted 3. Next press the button that looks like two pieces of papers one on top of the other...it is next to the OK button in the middle but on the left side. 4. Next you will see something that says Setup...press OK 5. Scroll down to where it says Cleanup press OK and you will see Inbox and Sent Items on there. Choose your Inbox ( you can also do the same for sent items) 6. Now just choose how often or how many messages you want cleaned up...then press the OK button. 7. It will automatically ask you if you want to do this now...choose yes
First open your phone. Press upper right (-) key to get menu. Press joystick up 1 time to get Messaging. Press joystick center select button 1 time, then down 1 time for "Inbox" (or down 3 times for email). Press center select 1 time, joystick down 1time for Inbox, center select for first message. Press upper right (-) key for "More", then joystick down 2 times to get "Forward", press center select. Press upper left (-) key to "Continue", press joystick up 1 time to get "enter email addr." Press joystick center select button, and enter the email address you want to forward the message to. After you have typed in the email address, press upper left (-) key "OK" 2 times to "Send", if you normally enter a password, type it now, press upper left (-) key for "OK" and your message will be sent. Here is a quick set of instructions to delete messages.
Click Messages (top right button)
Scroll down (down arrow button) to Inbox in the display
Click select (top left button)
Scroll to the message you want to delete
Press the center button (between the 4 arrows)
Select delete (or scroll down to delete all)
Click the yes button (top right)
When first turned on, select "messages." then down arrow to inbox or outbox. Select choice. For outbox, down arrow to SENT. Select. Hit the center button. scroll down twice to delete the one message. Scroll down once more to delete ALL messages from the sent outbox. Confirm and out they go!
Now, does anybody know how to email text messages so they can be saved?
